    As a native who now lives out west it was nice to hear those accents, especially Bruce Kitchen at the 1:22 mark who probably had the most authentic Tidewater accent.

    It was great to see Butch Kitchin’s interview. Butch passed away shortly after his bit on this video. Great to see all these legends..

    Great video of early surfing at VB. I grew up in VB and surfed there during the 60s. Lots of good memories of hanging around the beach with these guys.

    Grew up in Va. Beach and lived on 84th for years! We surfed from the 80's through the 90's. I still have my 10' 6" WRV 3 stringer - single fin! :) My roommate Dan surfed an original Hobie! I wish I still had my Hotline or 17th St boards...

    Vb has marginal surf but great surfers.
