- Today I Flew Europe's Best and Worst Airline in order to find out how good and bad they actually were and what the differences were like! Lufthansa and Ryanair are both considered to be the best and worst airlines in all of Europe but how different can they really be? I show you everything from the check in, to the in flight experience and all the interactions with staff so we can truly see how each airline compares to one another!

Dude, Copenhagen is in Denmark and Naples in Italy and you're flying on a German airline. I think it's not too much of a stretch to expect a layover in Germany 🙂. Otherwise, it's like expecting American Airlines to have a direct flight from Montreal to Mexico City 😅

@pastvz2781 Lol I knew I was gonna get someone to troll me with a Ryanair comment. Ryanair is Irish in name only. It isn't a national airline and has a rather unique business model with hubs all over Europe. Lufthansa is a national airline. A flag carrier with hubs only in Germany. So yea, it is literally like expecting to fly from Montreal to Mexico on American without a stop somewhere in the U.S.
Then how did i see, and fly with many lufthansa flight, from hungary to london? :) Google a bit bro, don't say dumb things without reseach
@@Azigazikacsa Lol I don't need to google it I used to work for Lufthansa not too long ago and I've worked in the airline industry in Europe for years. It's simply not the operating model of these airlines to offer direct flights between airports that aren't hubs. But since you're making stuff up, I have actually googled it. I went on Lufthansa's own website, and guess what. Lufthansa doesn't offer direct flights from Hungary to London. Not sure what you're smoking.

Wow Eric what a coincidence that your Lufthansa flight to Italy was next door to your arrival gate. I have flown Ryanair before they weren’t terrible but not great either and I was surprised at the seat for an 18 year old plane
I've sat in seats after a kid was in it, which is always highly questionable on sanitation standards. On a flight, I also saw a parent change their baby's diaper on the food tray, after which the soiled diaper flipped over soiling the tray. They just lazily wiped it away and closed it up. After that, I always carry sanitation wipes to use onboard.

the thing with these low cost airlines like ryanair is that you can’t expect more than a seat on the plane. i’ve flown spirit and ryanair and have never had an issue, it’s really just point A to point B.
I have flown numerous times with Ryanair before, never had any problems whatsoever. They are very cheap, but you have to plan your trip in advance, so you can choose the cheapest available tickets, because some of them are extremly expensive for some reason. Loved the vid tho❤️

I have had a connection with both flights Lufthansa and the first flight has got delayed, they have always just delayed the connecting flight to make sure everyone makes it

You should definitely try Edelweiss air! (From Switzerland)It’s an amazing airline and the economy class seats on their short haul aircraft actually have headrests. Which are very comfortable. Unlike Lufthansa or Austrian. (it’s a leisure airline) I totally recommend

I have flown with ryanair 6 times and as an European I think they are very cheap if u buy the ticket in advance. On the other hand, they are a budget airline so we just use it to go from point A to point B. Overall was nice, I even had a smooth landing, sometimes very clean and the stuff always very nice.
Yeah he must have bought it the day before. I looked at their prices for his exact route he did in this video and they going for 47 euro round trip 😂

@@thefitnesslife4988 I mean, it depends. I recently bought tickets with them which were like 50€, after adding everything I needed (bags, reservation and stuff) it came out to like 150€. Ryanair is great for short hops, where you won't have much luggage and no extras needs, for your regular vacation trip it straight up sucks.

Literally every flight within Europe is the exact same, whether it’s full service or budget. You should compare Norse and another European airline next.

Hi! Just a quick comment, the check-in and the gate workers are usually airport staff and not employments of the airlines. I work at a bigger european airport, and I’m not a check in agent, but what I know is, they are just randomly sorted out to a flight (one day it can be a Lufthansa, on the other a Wizzair).
I’ve flown Ryanair many times and they are consistently one of the best for being on time.
My latest flight on them was 4 hours from the Canary Islands to Edinburgh and the seat is absolutely fine.
Certainly not the best airline but absolutely not Europe’s worst.

Yes, they are famous for being very punctual. They often fly to smaller airports so they are less likely to be delayed by air controllers so I don't understand where this RUclipsr got his information that Ryanair is often delayed.
I have flown the longest flight you can do on ryanair in the same interior as you and it lasted 6 hours and my back didn’t hurt at all and idk how could it even cost that much cause the most i ever paid for a ryanair flight was 80 euros and k flew with them about 16 times but overall great video

Do EasyJet vs Ryanair
Why the Ryanair ticket is more expensive is because the route has higher demand. Just like flying from London to Athens with Ryanair, it can go from less than 50 euros a flight to more than 400 euros on a flight depending on the timing. The prices tend to be higher during public holidays and summer holidays but very cheap during normal working days. So next time when doing flight reviews, try to do the same destination as the same city and it would be better if is it the same airport! And Lufthansa got lower price is because the route has lower demand. The route demand can change a lot in a matter of short times, mostly because of timing and location.

Even if the prices were inverted, my comfort is with $35. I’ve never had a seat hurt my back and I’ve flown on Frontier’s worse seat. The cheapest I’ll go is Southwest at this point.
But if the prices were as they are and the LC airline was identical in service, but arrived on time, which would you choose? The traditional carriers are taking all the LC airline cost savings tricks but NONE have done anything but raise prices. They treat us like fools

I had a similar situation to your layover I had a 55 min layover in Amsterdam and our previous flight got delayed and the other flight was on the opposite side of the airport so we missed it and had to stay 12 hours in Amsterdam before the next flight and I was going to Zagreb Croatia

Eric bro you have to fly lufthansa's first class on there boeing b747. As a fellow Canadian I flew this experience from frankfurt and the entire experience was beyond surreal with the private terminal and the chauffeur service. I was so impressed with it and I'm sure that you will be to.

I'm not sure why you say that Ryanair flights are delayed. They were known to be on time, this is one of their main advantages.

I've yet to try Ryanair but I generally don't have any problems flying with ULCC's as a frequent flyer (and user of common sense! LOL).

I've had more severe delays on only a few Latehansa flights, than I have ever had on several Ryanair flights. I hve flown Ryanair over 50 times and my worst delay was 30 min.
Latehansa however has been delayed on over half of the flights I had with them.
For me Ryanair is definitely the better airline for arriving on time

Ryanair can be very cheap if booked well in advance. I'm not a fan, but it's usually on time. They had a musical fanfare at one time to announce the flight was on time and they were the most punctual airline in Europe. If the flight costs much more than £60 another airline is probably a better bet.

You missed and discarded a really neat feature of your second flight (which is rare these days): boarding on an a321 through the 2L door

my bro was coming to singapore,and he was living in uk,and he had to go lufthansa and basically he needed a transit visa and he wasnt allowed in cuz he didnt have one and the flight was non refundable,my parents were arguing w the ppl at check in over the phone and my bro fainted at the airport that day,thats why from now on we dont go via lufthansa and go via ethihad or emerites
