The Bearded Mechanic sent me here.
I'm a disabled Army veteran. I was a Tank commander in 1st of the 1st Cavalry Regiment. I can't ride a bike anymore and it sucks! I live through folks like you, sir.
Be safe and have as much fun as you possibly can because when you can no longer ride, you're gonna miss it horribly!
Oh man. Sorry to hear that
My father was army.
I will be thinking of you when I rode and film. I do hope the videos bless you
I did this exact same trip in 2019 on my old KTM 990R and had a blast. Made it all the way to the Canadian border. Thanks for the trip down memory lane and hope you also enjoyed this epic adventure!
I watched all five hours of this and loved it. Great locations, video, naration, interactions with other people, and BIBLE VERSES! I just subscribed.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Over five hours of great content. Thanks for combining it all.
Glad you enjoy it! That makes me happy
Amazing trip Brock. I'm a nightwatch for disabled people her in Norway and I love watching your videos here at night. I'm a biker myself and love your adventure. Greetings Pat.
Pat. I am so thankful you left me a comment. I read it to my wife. It makes us happy that you are watching these videos. I hope we can make your day brighter
How do you not have over a million subscribers! Seriously, I feel like I'm located in the wrong region for the way I want to ride. I've been watching a ton of your TAT videos and this year finally, going to experience for myself. Also an 890 rider, but taking my DRZ400 on this trip. Thanks for sharing your experiences!!
You are very kind. I make videos and hope people will watch them. It’s growing slowly but surely. Stoked for people like you watching and supporting the channel. Appreciate you.
Email me your mailing address.
@@MotoMission. you’ve got some serious talent!
I just had a partial knee replacement and there are some very dark times. I am a believer and I have gotten much pleasure in this series! When I feel down or painful I watch and I feel much better. Thank you for this series and scripture at each video! May God bless you and your wife!
Thanks for sharing! Hang in there buddy.
That's a great trip! I did it unsupported in 2013 and took a small group again in 2014. I've traveled and toured a lot on Moto and that is one of my favorite trips!
Such a great ride
We love to just pick random trails and explore. Great ride!
Yes. That’s how to do it !
Thank you for this video and the TAT videos. You've motivated me to get out and explore the portion of the TAT that is just across the Alabama / Tennessee line from me.
Great to hear! It’s awesome
Man, I’m doing my research. I’ve ridden big Harleys most of my life, ready for a change. Leaning towards the Africa Twin. Hope to get out there soon.
I’m with ya. I love my Harley’s. But there is nothing like this adventure riding.
Welcome to my world. Lemme know if I can help
I'm so glad you put this into one click. I've seen pieces of your Continental journey, but this sure makes it easier to find! I hope my wife and I get to do some of this kind of rambling someday when the kids are older. We're believers, & I'm in a 2-year Residency at my home church. Future's wide open to God's leading from here on out brother. Keep up the good work! Come on over to Boston. We have tacos, pie, and cappuccino!
That’s awesome.
Boston has cappuccino ?
@@MotoMission. The North End is Italian brother. Got canolis too!
Ok. On my way now!
:)
Did island park ID to Banff last summer… was a blast! Fleecer ridge is crazy steep but was successful (on a loaded ktm 690).
Awesome content Brock…. You put a ton of work into this and it shows.
You did fleecer!!! Wow
When I am watching, I still get to go for a ride. Even when I can't go for a ride.
That makes me happy
Amazing drone footage and vids!! Thanks
Thanks for watching!
@@MotoMission. Man I really like how supportive your wife is with all your adventures !
She is the best. Gonna keep her
3:39:47 Just wanted to say I’ve been watching your videos last couple days and man that’s some awesome scenery and riding. I retire in July of this year and I’m planning on doing a lot of riding I came across your videos the other day and been inspired to do the continental divide route myself anyway keep up the awesome videos and keep riding 👍
That’s so great to hear ! Thanks for watching. You are gonna love the Continental divide. Lemme know how it goes.
Did this ride in 2022 north to south and then back to Canada on a KTM690. Ride of a lifetime. Thx for sharing. From Central Canada. Think I'll go scratch my itchyboot now. Peace
Epic adventure. Itchy! She’s the best
I'm a delivery guy here in The Philippines, delivering packages using motorcycle.
I really love this video man, I'll make sure one day I'm gonna go on one myself with my beloved Honda CG125 that I modified into a Scrambler to tackle off roads better.
Ride Safe Always Bro.
Yeahhhh. That’s very cool
Awesome.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed this one
We love your channel and adventures... If you ever come to England you are most welcome to stay at ours and Ride with Us.
Heyyy! England sounds awesome !
@@MotoMission. it's tiny, but seems big to us and yet compared to the vastness of countryside you're riding through it's microscopic... what it does have at times is plenty of MUD... ! I ride a Fantic 500 Trail bike and Honda vtx1800... Blessings to you both
Lets Ride!
What a great hamburger and a nice lady to boot. You know I watched a great guy named Brock who passed by this place earlier and had one of them thar big burgers and met the same nice lady. What a small world!!
Beautiful trip. Those Aspen trees are lovely. I miss them living the south.
They are! Very incredible
Thanks for sharing your adventure. You and your wife are fun to watch. I like how you talk to the critters along the way. It was good of you to stop and check and the snake. I just found this today and watched the full thing. The CDT is on my to-do list. It's too bad you weren't able to spend some time in South City WY it's a very cool place with a lot of interesting history. I like seeing rides like this and would like to see more of them with you taking the time to visit some of the historic tourist spots. With having nightly destinations and not realizing there were place like South Pass it's hard to do that though.
Hey. Thanks for watching. We post new videos every Sunday. I hope you will explore the channel and find some fun stuff to watch.
Hello Brock I am from Eastern Canada and have been riding since I was a kid but got my first adventure bike last summer ! 23 KLR650 and plan on doing some local eastern Canada adventures. you're videos are simply inspiring to me keep it up and ill keep watching "LET'S RIDE"
Hey there. Good to hear from ya. I would love to hear about eastern Canada trails. Thanks for watching
@@MotoMission. check out a couple folks I ride with that do some you tube stuff @islandadv and @maritimemotoADV they have a lot of stuff based in eastern Canada
@@MotoMission. we have some great trails you should check couple guys channels I ride with @islandADV and @maritimemotoadv
This trip looks amazing - many thanks from Birmingham UK :)
Glad you enjoyed it! So happy to hear from you
Such a great feeling watching your video after a snow storm here in Montréal (april 4). Like they say: There are only two seasons in Québec, Winter and July. 😅You are certainly an important inspiration for me to ride and live adventure as much as I can. I thank you for these great videos you share and making them so enjoyable and empowering (quotes) to watch and to learn from your experience. With any luck, maybe we'll meet up at your Rocky Road Ride in Colorado in late July. I'm riding solo the WYBDR and the COBDR from north to south this summer. Congratulations Brock for your epic adventure of the CDR!👍
Hey buddy. First of all you made me laugh. Winter and July Haha
Can’t wait to hear about your Bdr trips. See ya in Colorado
@@MotoMission. Sure thing. I'll do my best to meet up with you and the group. Just hope I'll make it on time. Thanks.
Thanks for posting your entire journey. So enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Brock, loving every mile brother.. I gotta go to Denver and hire a bike and head into those mountains on a KTM.. ride safe and amazing video.. Nikko in South Australia
You’re a legend Brock. Thanks for taking us along.. what time of year was this trip.. I’m in Australia and going to plan to do some of that trip.. Cheers Nikko
Did that in August and September. It’s a small window to be able to ride because of the snow at high elevation. Lemme know how it goes
Love what your doing Brock. I may join you! Just looked at your website and I may sign up for a trip in the Fall.
Big thanks. Yeah we will be adding more events to the website
Keep an eye on it.
Loved this so much! God bless! (Marian)
Great video! Thanks for all the info!
Glad it was helpful!
Super nice video. amaizing landscape. Greeting from Patagonia Argentina
Thank you very much! Happy to see you from South America !
Let's go! The whole thing!
Was that a bad idea ?
@@MotoMission. No! Great to see the whole trip!
Thanks for the fantastic video man! What time of year did you start the trip!? Do you think it would be better to go Southbound?
Not sure it matters which direction. I did it August into September. It’s in higher elevation so never gets too hot. But it gets cold fast in mountains.
Great video. I watched the whole thing. Took me 3 days on and off. I’m new to dual sport riding. I ride dirt bikes but looking for a dual sport bike. If you have any tips for a good first dual sport bike let me know.
Hey. Welcome to the club. I would suggest maybe a Honda crf 250
Those are great to learn on. Take your time and focus on learning fundamentals. That will help you with confidence.
Stand up and elbows out. Learn figure 8s and just get comfortable.
Then go ride and have fun
Watched all your individual videos. Great stuff, you rock!! I am sure this question has been asked but where did you get your maps or tracts and what did you use for navigation?
So happy to hear it. I get maps from gps kevin. Also Sam correro. And one man trail.
Great adventures! FYI you mirrors on you KTM “Doubletake” were made in Salida. 👊🏼
I didn’t know that. Those are my fav mirrors
Great video man!
Appreciate it!
Loving the video! How many ride days did it take you?
I think I took off 2-3 days total. I usually try to take a day about every 7 days.
Nice to see dry riding land. Here up north we just got new snow storm . Hi from Finland. It takes 15 days to get mototrip south .Let s ride....
Oh wow! Finland! I have friends in Finland and they have told me stories of the cold weather.
This was great man. Would love to see you guys do the africa trip like the dude on the bicycle. I wish it were even longer.
Hmmmm. I’m listening
@@MotoMission. just make sure you bring fuel stabilizer 🤣
Haha. Oh yeah
Great riding man love the outdoors
Me tooolo. Thanks
Me too. Autocorrect fails me
wow how long did it take to edit? Great stuff! Thanks!
We edited that in about 15 minutes. I was done before I finished my cappuccino. :)
your camera is so stable that sometimes it looks like the footage is from dron camera.
Big thanks.
I hope to ride this in the near future. Wondering the time of year you left Mexico border?
August. Arrived in Canada in September.
It’s not hot because it’s at elevation.
Well my friend, I just started this video. I WILL finish it, and I’m sure enjoy all of it. I would say, putting it into episodes would have been nice. lol.
I’ll give more feedback as I get further along. It’s an adventure I hope to do myself. Nice to get a little recon for ya.
Hey. Thanks for watching. All of them are in episodes. Also we have a playlist for all of them. Here is a playlist for ya. ruclips.net/p/PL3YkONbqwTp4elv5QgtUFDWBwItJVrXC0&si=HEdLWVRlE5o3QKr9
@@MotoMission. oh great! Thanks dude! Hope to see ya out there some time. I live in KY. Gonna be in PNW for a bit though.
Keep an eye on motomission.com
I am posting new dates often. I’m out there
Let’s ride
@@MotoMission. Awesome brother!
Ride on, kick ass and have a blast!
Deal! I’m on it !
Great trip Brock 😎je préfère écrire en français suisse 😂j aime vraiment bien tes vidéos ! Elle sont top 😊.
Thanks for watching. It makes me happy to see you comment in French
Brock what kind of gear are you wearing and is it comfortable and does it have armor built in, also what rain gear are you wearing I’ve done a few trips and I find my gear to be too heavy and bulky
I have lots of different ones based on season and rain
I find that too much armor makes it bulky and heavy.
I always carry a rain jacket and pants as a shell to go over the top of what I am riding in.
And I wear knee protection. I don’t use knee pads that come in the pants.
I like breathable lightweight stuff most of the year and I layer accordingly.
Klim has some stuff worth looking at. But I don’t believe there is a one size fits all persons and seasons out there. Not yet
The good allways wins the bad.
Only 7 more days until???? Please send Pop Corn for movie. Thank you from your utube riding buddy. My recliner has fantastic fuel milage. Bless you my son,,,
Hey rusty. Sunday is coming soon. :)
Time date did you start this ride? How many days did it take you? Sorry if it’s been asked/ answered.
August and September. There is a small window of no snow from July ish to early September ish
van to gota do withut
Thanks
You actually completed the trip on a KTM that did not leave you stranded! That is not a brand I would ever choose based on previously owning a KTM.
Especially not an 890!
So you are basically replicating what Noraly did as Itchy Boots.
Yeah. And having so much fun doing it
Is there a Gpx map for your trip ?
One man trail has a gpx. Google him.
Also gpskevin
@@MotoMission. Thanks I found it.
6:31 is that the store from zombieland 2? If it’s not it’s the cousin.
Hey Brother, never seen your videos before. I really appreciate the Bible verses you threw in. If there was a day that I needed some spiritual help it is today. Never expected it from bdr. Peace to you and your house. For anyone who’s struggling I pray the hands of God touches you and brings you the healing you need.
Hey. So happy to read your comment. Reach out any time. Brock@motomission.com
What is the best months to do this ride?
July to September. Snow all the other months
I approve of Grants NM
Heck yeah
Good day, do you have a GPX file to share?
Not at this time. But in the future I plan to make some available.
Haven't heard anything on the eclipse ride. Still happening?
Yep. We riding the eclipse. You going ?
@@MotoMission. I honestly don't know yet. Needing some info on the start location and KSU time. You putting out a vid about it?
Probably not a long video. Maybe a short.
Meeting in Clinton Arkansas. Arriving in Branson. Gonna be a fun one
Love your videos, such a great trip.
Which tires did you get?
Motoz rallz
Great choice for this
@@MotoMission. Yeah, I saw your short about it. You're killing it! See ya next episode!
Big thanks
Amazing love that the pie made it through the mud
Illegal to ride standing up on a bike in canada
I’m not surprised because Canada has lots of weird laws.
If that’s true then Canada lawmakers know nothing about how to operate a motorcycle. That’s insane
Canada is such a beautiful place. I hope more people visit there. Banf and jasper are mind blowing
