Dude you're a savant. I really appreciate your videos. I've been trying to up my IEM mixing game. I commonly mix on wedges and I get very used to hiding in stage volume. Do you have any other tips for taking my mixes from good to amazing?
If want to up your iem mixes, get molded iems, if you can mix wedges at a decent volume without feedback you’re the man (ran monitors for over 10 yrs at a local club)
This mix was done in protools, I don’t compress guitars in monitor world and for this mix their was just a dbx 160 on the overall guitar bus to help keep the L and R in check since there is 3 guitars total in the band.

Thanks, Multi-track record every show, then go and practice in your daw.

Get wireless Iem stuff like Shure Psm and learn to solo each iem mix and improve it.
Did you compress guitar at monitors in this video? If so, is there any go to settings/compressors we can look at - alongside using our ears
