Please help me understand the following
    i. Do threats to research instruments affect research design' validity?
ii. Which threat has more effect on trustworthiness between internal and external?

Hello Paul. Sorry, I didnt get back to you in good time. Threats normally affect research designs. However, you must ensure that your instruments will collect valid & reliable data if not your confidence on the findings will be threatened. I will discuss validity and reliability in lecture 19-25

The Pygmalion effect -high expectations lead to improved performance in a given area. The effect is named after the Greek myth of Pygmalion, a sculptor who fell in love with a statue he had carved. Robert Rosenthal- Rosenthal effect the situation in which an investigator's expectations about the outcome of a given study unwittingly affect the actual study outcome
