Any random Tonight Show with Johnny Carson blows away anything that has been produced in years.
Carson knew how to be funny, entertain, and make others shine.
To me, Letterman is the only one that came close.

This was such an exciting Era in Late Night Broadcast Television History. The countdown to Mr. Carson's final show was EPIC! Thanks for sharing this gem!

I like how he picks on all sides and keeps politics brief.

He was the Babe Ruth of late night. No one really close. Johnny gracefully stepped down.

It's hard to believe seeing these three amazing personalities of entertainment and sports in the same program. You don't see things like this in talk shows anymore. Ray Charles, John McEnore and Tom Selleck!!! Wow!!!

2:34 it's so weird to hear him talking about Clinton (who was still Arkansas governor at that time). Not only Bill but he also cracked jokes about Hillary.

This was just a month before his last show -- when it was fully sinking in with everyone just how much he was going to be missed.

Carson was a class act wasn't he, a great time for tv, it was truly excellent. Selleck is such a decent person, worked hard on talent, not vain., humble.

Yes. Cash has been on multiple times from the 1960’s through 1980’s. I believe his first appearance was on March 5, 1964.
