Hey Guys! Today's video is on timeblocking in your planner. This is my absolute FAVORITE way to plan. It has transformed my productivity and I have done a couple of videos on how I timeblock in my planner but I thought of some additional tips that I use and I wanted to share.

I like how you said that sometimes we are too hard on ourselves and not being kind to ourselves too. A good reminder to give ourselves buffer and accept that sometimes, we have to plan as we go along! :')

Thank you! Your videos are always so informative.
    1) I am obsessed with your handwriting. It is so neat. Mine looks like a 12-year-old.
    2) Time blocking is something I had heard of, this video helped me really understand how I could actually use the skill.
    3) You make me wish I had more things to schedule and plan!
I look forward to more videos.

You live in the real world! This was so realistic and practical, I will try time blocking. Some of the other videos on time blocking has given me the feeling of tutorials on how to totally stress yourself out! Thank you so much.

I love the overflow day idea! I schedule every minute and it's exhausting. I'll implement the buffer and rest times in also and see how next week goes. Tfs these useful ideas 💜

Thank you! You're the only one who explained what it is as I didn't know the meaning. Almost all the others jumped straight to the benefits and didn't explain what it is.

Just a tip - can you have brighter lighting and a closer up view of the planner? It would help to really visualize all of this, as we see exactly how much time you give on specific things.

This is so helpful! Thank you! I bought an hourly planner so that I could be more detailed about the days once school starts. My kids' school is doing a hybrid in-school/remote learning set up in the fall and with that I'm going to have to stay on top of two kids' schedules. I'm hoping this time blocking will work!

I love how you explain your planner setup. I finally understand how to set up my planner. I was getting overwhelmed and wanted to quit. All the different set ups were to much for me. I am a simple planner, I do love stickers. I am a multiple planner person I do know that. Thank you for the inspiration again.

So very helpful. Especially the parts about using one color pen (add color later) and revising. I have a dark grey pen I plan to use because I like the softer color. My planner helps to lessen my anxiety but it also can add to it. LOL. It truly is about perspective. Thank you!

I love these tips! I just got my Passion Planner in the mail on Wednesday but I've been using the printable one from July 12 until Wednesday. And back planned in my PP. What works for me is using the hours as I go through my day because if something I'm doing takes longer than I expected, then I can draw a line to show how many hours I did things for. I'm glad I found something that works for me! I've struggled with Hourly planners for so long because I assumed I had to schedule everything in it right away for every week before I actually got things done. I LOVE watching how you plan, Alaina! One day, I hope to be able to do it like you.

Hi I just got my new Passion Planner too! I use markers to colour code each half hour block showing what u did. Ie did I spend it doing work, projects, going out, family time, or rest. As I build my week I can see by colour what I should devote my time to next.

@@kjw79 I like functional planning. Basically just some pens and a sometimes a yellow highlighter. That's it. But I love a mix of décor and function in my Happy Planners.
