Thank you very much for this information. The clips are sold separately now. I kept the old clips on the original liner for the sake of keeping a piece of history in tacked.
Thanks for checking out my video! I did run into issues with this liner staining my forehead brown. I reached out to WCS and they sent me a black one for free. Haven’t tried it yet.
I been looking at getting one of those hats as well awesome video brother stay safe and keep ur head on a swipe the community lost an awesome tree guy last week by a widow maker! Take ur time and look up
Thanks! I have ended up with a few of the older hardhats - and the new liner/suspension from Westcoast Saw is a very good fit! I also have a head diameter that forces me to use the largest setting on the new lining, but I suspect that with some break-in wear-and-tear it will need to be adjusted back a bit smaller. I was able to use the clips from the original suspension except for the one that was missing. I think the original clips are a bit harder to adjust, but also they surely won't move once they are set! As noted elsewhere - these linings/suspensions are NOT Certified.
I don’t even think the hardhats meet current safety standards either. I bought an aluminum Skull Bucket and it has a double layer of aluminum in the top to give it an actual safety rating. Thanks for watching and let me know if that leather ends up staining your forehead. I ordered the brown one and it stained my forehead badly after a sweaty day in the woods so I contacted WCS and they sent me the black one for free. Pretty good customer service over there.
This guide was super helpful when installing mine, thank you! Would've been so lost without the steps.
Thank you very much. I knew I couldn’t be the only one to buy one of those hardhat liners and have a hell of a time getting it on.

I got a black liner, and it works great. The brown liner is no longer offered.@@evergreenorganics

Jed, I heard, just terrible. Thank you man you guys keep it safe too. We do this so we can provide but it’s a treacherous path.
Is there a reason you replaced your clips? It looked like you had them all and they were in good shape.
New clips came with the liner so I put them on.
@@evergreenorganics Makes sense. It looks like they now sell them separate and don't include them with the liner.
Just like Grandpa's!
Yes, it's a classic!
