My first listen to the song left me ugly crying for about 30 minutes. I think this may be their most powerful lyric to date. I love watching your facial expressions as you hear the words and the look of anticipation after the final note was perfect. There is something about the unfinished feeling of it that is almost a prompt to create the ending. By the way, the scar looks good on you. I call the 9 inch scar on my leg my battle scar and it's proof positive that I was stronger than what tried to kill me.

My depression is back and is trying to take over but I won't let it. Went through hell to get where I am. Struggling to stand up for myself when my friends are hypocrites and only point out my faults. But I don’t know where it came from but I started helping myself up. I started gaining confidence. I’m not a guy that needs a girl, a girlfriend, or a wife. Although that’s all I dream of. I’m a guy that’s interested in law enforcement and freaks out whenever I see a cop car cause I’m so excited to see it. I’m a guy that loses his shit over seeing a black unmarked 2008 Tahoe. For once I feel funny, I feel comfortable in my own body. Hell, at this point I don’t even care if I have no friends. I have my family and for once I finally feel good about myself. I’m not a burden, im more then my pain and I’m sure as shit she doesn’t deserve better than me. I’ve watched you grow as you’re own person man, grow this channel. Proud of you. And as much as I hate to admit it, I teared up during this, especially since recently when I reach out to friends for help they make fun of me and say “you just do this to yourself.” I’ve been through more hell then a normal 16 year old probably doesn’t need to go through. But finally, im happy because im happy… being alone, just saying that makes me smile, because I know I’ve grown…. Keep on keeping on. Love the channel!!!!!! As someone who struggled with taking the cowardly way out, since a young age, I have felt like my life means nothing and I shouldn't live, and it just got worse and worse thoughout my school years due to bullying and being sent home for lice and tossed around by my school until I just couldn't take it and ended up skipping my whole high school years because of this monster is my head. I didn't tell anyone because I was afraid that I would be tossed a side like it was nothing. So I kept everything I had in my head while pretending that everything was fine. I have kept this hidden for so long and am still keeping it hidden, sometimes those thoughts still come back, but I would always tell myself, even when I was first starting to feel all this back in like middle school I think? Or junior high, that I wasn't alone, there were other people fighting this like I was, and that's probably why I am not dead and due to the fact that I was scared to hurt myself and hurt my parents, because I would hurt them just as much, if not more. I feel so connected and thankful for this song and so meny others of Citizen Soldier. Keep fighting, and don't surrender. Because if you do, you hurt your loved ones just as much. It will get better, I promise you.

This is the reaction I needed to hear. Positive, uplifting, reassuring, and encouraging. I just watched a reaction where the reactor literally said that "some people should just go ahead and let go" and "that's natural selection at work" and "it's better if their genes aren't passed on." I was quite taken back. I'm not sure if he was trying to be humorous because he was uncomfortable, but man, that could be really damaging and dangerous.
Some people are just not worth the time it would take to insult, stay positive and avoid the negative energy, take in the lessons of what not to do, sorry you came across someone like that ❤️
