Crazy, I remember a lot of soundtrack, the sounds, even the ending dialogue with Dum and Dee. This game was an amazing part if my childhood.

Having the words beg for mercy come after shrek 2 is really funny to me idk exactly why
Today I found a receipt for this game from 2005 as I was looking for old games to sell for some extra cash.
My mom bought this for me when I was only 8, but I had to return it because English wasn't my native language. I only started learning through Animal Crossing one year later. So as I got better, I regretted returning it, but I could only find stuff about the regular Shrek 2 GBA game which I was certain wasn't my game, and kept thinking about it every now and then for years. Now, because of the receipt we apparently still had, I finally know the title!
Looking back it's such a simple game, I think I would've figured it out. I got to choose another game though, which I really liked too. But I'm happy (and surprised!) that I finally got closure lol

Great game. Short and sweet. The music is very boring, though. I kinda liked that, though, because it meant I didn't feel the need to take earbuds with me when I wanted to play it. :P Started and 100%ed it in under two weeks.

I share your opinion though, the game feels lazy as can be. My theory is that it was meant to be an entirely different game (undead skeletons? Stone golems? Bloodthirsty vampire rats? Come on), and they tacked Puss 'n Boots on it because of his popularity. And who on Earth would that creepy stone face at 18:00 (which even has a couple lines of dialogue) be?
LOL yeah I don't now what's going on with that stone face. Glad I could help you finish the game and I admire your tenacity to go back and finish it after all these years. Doesn't this reuse some things from Shrek 2, though? (I don't have Shrek 2 yet, but I have played it once) Moreover, what else would it be? Aren't all these games based on licensed properties?

I didn't know how to unlock more scrolls in this game so I only got 1 and 3. Got to 100 with the ducking/jumping pumpkins tho.. I had way more patience as a kid.

I was a little disappointed with the other bonus games because of that one being the first I unlocked. It is by far the deepest one.
