    Hi Denise! I just got through loom knitting a square with this knit stitch and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It is so much FUN and so easy for me to do!! I am actually AMAZED that I was able to do this after not being able to loom knit ANYTHING for a while!
    THANK YOU, my sweet sister, for giving us out here in loomy land a wonderful, light and easy loom knit stitch to use on any number of projects! I am going to make a hat with this stitch!
    Love ya, Vikki Carter

    Wow this is beautiful! I cannot wait to do it. This would make a beautiful scarf 🧣! I started a scarf last night that I scrapped and restarted because the loom I used had to wide of peg spacing and I figured it would of worked. I was wrong! Trying this on my next project for sure. Also I know you always talk about loose loops looking sloppy when casting on but if you cast on one loop at a time instead of wrapping the entire loom then it’s perfect everytime! No need to fix it and no lazy loops!

    Question: I always mess up when you add an extra knit/purl to the row. After you knit row 3 with the extra k, on the way back, are you purling the pegs that were knit, and slipping the yarn behind the same peg as before?

    Hey Denise! I have a question on row 4. You purl the stitches with the rubber bands on row 4 in the video and in the other 3 rows those were knit. The picture looks like it's just continuously knit on those stitches though? Am I missing something. I'm confused as to why they're purled and not knit. Thanks for helping to explain this.

    Hi Loomahat.com! Just found your channel, and i LOVE it! Can't wait to start loom knitting asap! 😆 The toy videos excite me the most. Do you think you could do tutorials for cute cartoon characters like hello kitty, cookie monster, PUSHEEN ✨ etc?

    Why you didn't skip the first pig to make edge?
    Won't it work with this stitch?

  • @SilkaLiveDoll
    @SilkaLiveDoll 5 лет назад +1

    Wouldn't the fabric start to bunch where it's still looped on the pegs when you slip the stitches? Or do you eventually take that off, like the anchor peg? *scratches her head*

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  5 лет назад

      The slip stitches are not on the pegs. My best description is that they are “floating” . They will not bunch up.

      @@LoomaHat the slip stitches aren't on the pegs but there is a loop on that peg. What do you do with that loop?

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  5 лет назад +2

      You will knit that peg on the row after the slip stitch row

    I'm making a scarf. How do I keep the sides from curling?

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  2 года назад

      Knit a border around the scarf or when you're finished steam or wet block it. Here's a post with a video www.loomahat.com/steam-blocking-acrylic/

    Ok, I'm confused, I tried this, but the peg with the loop on that you skip, what do you do with that loop? I got through several rows and noticed my work wasn't getting anywhere because that loop never leaves the peg.

    • @cyna-k6890
      @cyna-k6890 4 года назад +2

      It's a 4 row pattern so remember how the first 2 rows were u-knit stitches? Those 2 rows should be repeated for all pegs before the 2 rows that skip a peg repeat.

    What I want to know is....How do you bind off with this pattern?

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  5 лет назад

      The bind off depends on your project not the stitch. You will not bind off a hat the same way you bind off a pair of socks
