thank you so so much for this!! So helpful filling out my CV now! I hope mine is not too wordy and conveys my point efficiently! For hobbies, do you think it's okay if I list my hobbies as 1.2.3. and describe each or it's best in a paragraph?
Excellent question! So listing your hobbies is a great way to be clear and direct with your letter writers so that’s a great option for the CV you present to them. For ERAS, that section of the application has a character limit, so most people leave it in paragraph format so they can maximize how many words they can use to describe their hobbies. It can also serve as your only opportunity to have a more conversational aspect to your application. By speaking freely, it becomes almost like the residency app reviewers are sitting right there with you and chatting with you about what you like to do in your free time. Which is essentially what they’ll also be doing in your interviews! ☺️
@@DOCGIRLFITNESS thank you so much!! I'm a peds applicant this year and I have so many questions. Do you think I can email you or direct message you? I know you're busy and if you can't, I totally understand!
So sorry, could you explain what you're referring to for how long? Like how long should a CV be? To me a CV can never be too long! But being succinct is also important. I would say if you have done a lot and it takes a couple pages to show that, then that's fine! I hope this helps! ❤️
