In a country where there are no jobs and hardship and the youth are desperate, this is the cost you pay. All water bodies, vegetation have been destroyed to the extent of polluting the sea and destroying aquatic life due to illegal mining. This is will become an international issue soon and Ghana should face sanctions when that time comes. I don't want to talk about the effect of mercury, cyanide and all the chemicals used in these illegal mining activities that are done in the open. The health implications alone is a conversation for a different day
The fact that this is from 10 years ago tells us that our governments are just taking us for a ride
10 years ago?!
They should use the sites for fish ponds instead of mining
You can nt do this in any country accept Ghana
It is bad to do that
What is illegal mining and legal mining
God save ghana first destruction of vegetation then land and water bodies i
