Thank you so much for posting these videos! Do you have a daily schedule you would care to share? It’s hard for me to find people with AO that are keeping years separate for multiple children. I’m also interested in how your binder is organized and what all it contains.

I don’t yet have a great schedule to be honest. Something I’m still working on. We began this year for the first time, and also just moved states so we’ve been majorly disrupted and just trying to do what we can in small pockets during the day. A huge hurdle to our “schedule” has also been our 2 year old. We’ve really transitioned to doing more during his nap time. Main things I’ve tried to implement for a schedule: Start at 9 reading some of our family bible/1-2poems/little pilgrim’s progress/hymn/sometimes one other read aloud. Then we branch off to begin readings. We trade off who gets read to/plays with the toddler. Usually we have so many breaks and disruptions I find the need to stop and continue on in the afternoon during naps. Then we can finish SO much so efficiently! I think we’ll aim for a better routine with a predictable order but for now it’s really just random with who I can read to and when/who I can work with on math and when. I know that’s not magical but it’s working ok for us for now! My husband has taken over teaching my 6 year old to read each day and that’s been AMAZING too 🌼.

Parables of nature is my favorite. We're on a year 2. Such rich stories to teach God's truths.
Edit, we read the more modern paraphrase.

I am LOVING that book! Another AO win, I’d never heard of it before this year.
