Ah hell he was a shop teacher for a quite large high school. He made his own version of one of these and I have fond memories of standing on the skis at the back while the sleds took us off on a new adventure. Imagine having little kids standing on the skis sticking out the back now?! Child endangerment at the least. So glad I grew up in the 70s at least.
