Nicely done, good job. I wouldn't have been able to pass up those deals either. And I learned your gas inlet hose clamp trick. Good call! Those things always crack.
Glad to see your still alive!! You may not recognize me but I raced with you when Sharon Speedway had the Circle Track Show Down many years ago! I raced the the red Polaris 340. Hope all has been well!!
Fn awesome man ,missed ya . And you come back with one of my all time favorite sleds, just finished a 98 xc 700 , ves swapped with perc and everything, 144x1.5 track fun project. Carry on 👌
Nice, sounds like a sweet setup. 👍 What suspension you go with? Not sure if you caught it in the vid, but there's a '98 XC 700 project coming up at some point, haha.
I cant even...buddy your videos have always been the best...you make me laugh my ass off and then your ingenuity always amazes me. Your budget is always the least amount you can spend and thats a major part of the success of your videos i feel...dont ever stop making videos. Maybe one day we can rip sleds together here in MN...take care
We used to race there back in the earlier 2000s , great place ! Brings back memories hope to build a sled and get back into it someday soon Thanks for the great content !
When my 98 waterpump died I adapted the newer ones to fit, added a length of hose to the main one with a metal coupler drilled and tapped the coupler for that brass elbow had a head with the coolant bypass so used that, also there's a ridge on the bottom of the newer pumps that needs to be ground down to clearance for the engine plate.
70 years old and we have a small sled shop in Washington State. Then fellers should have taken me away some 30 years ago. But it's all perception. Maybe they did.. Your vijayos rank right up there with the best. Few and far betweenst but well thought out.. . This Millers for you
It would be Awesome to get a AMR300, or amr500, supercharger for one of these engines, and put. on a pair 34mm carburetors, or a Single 60-68mm carb. With about 7-9 psi , possibly a 5-6 speed gearbox. An expansion chamber exhaust. Squeeze it into a ninja 250 frame! Or Drz 450 super moto! That should be 'SOMETHING ELSE, IF BUILT PROPERLY" MAYBE Run it on methanol 'occasionally' and when needed, run it on nitro, 50% with 48.5% methanol, and 1.5% mineral oil similar to the two stroke hobby motors. That produce something crazy like 600 HP per liter !?!?? (They spin something like 60,k rpm to do it, on nitro . So 150-180 HP from 600 cc should be possible right? Dreams I know.. happy holidays! 🎉
