Only Giovanni ranks higher on the bad guy scale. Ghetsis is pure concentrated unrepentant evil, but his plan is cartoonish and Guzma would just beat the piss out of him. If Guzma tried to do that Giovanni would just coldly pull a gun and put two in his chest. Whether or not that would kill our boy, Guzma, I don't know, but Giovanni definitely has more mafia energy than Guzma does Punk.

Team Skull as an entirety would still top Rocket in general from the game's perspective though, I loved the more comedic approach significantly more. Also felt there was way more interaction with the team compared to Rocket but it's been a while since I've played the gen 1 games/remakes.

yes, he's pretty much the posterboy of that video He literally wants to blow up the earth to make it 'perfect' because he finds the idea of people wanting charity 'pathetic', and has the audacity to think that anyone able to afford the exhorbitant price of joining team flare is proof that they deserve to not die. And he BARELY hides it to the point the adaptations of the story do a better job hiding his role as big bad.
Honestly I wait eagerly for the day X & Y get remade because I feel like a Redo of those games would do that generation justice because their are a lot of good concepts and ideas that just aren’t handled well. It could have easily had the narrative weight of Black and White but it felt like the rolled back the darkness of the story a little too far.

The only plan that made sense was arguably Giovanni's. You turned one of the most terrifying villains in Pokemon (dude wanted to destroy literally *EVERYTHING* because why not) into "Giovanni's Juggalo brother"
You should do the unique NPCs like Zinnia, Cheryl, Riley, Looker, AZ, Sycamore's assistants, Sordward and Shielbert (personal F tier because of their hair), Cedric Juniper (Professor Juniper's dad), Lillie, etc. You can also use it as a second chance to rate Alder, since he's an NPC in Black and White 2.
It was disappointing to see N ranked less than an A tier. He's not solely liked for looking like a "pretty boy", his story line and personality are one of the most unique and attention drawing out of any pokemon game. He follows in his father's corrupt organization with the belief that he's making a better world for pokemon, the only beings he grew up with and understands. He sees trainers as abusive, but with the interactions between him and the protagonist, he slowly learns throughout the game that trainers and pokemon are meant to be together and work together as a team. And the ending with N's father was brutal. After it's revealed to N that he was just being used for Ghetsis's own selfish gain, he pretty much gets spit on and called a freak.. and then almost killed.. by his own dad.
Cyrus is pretty tame compared to the new villains, but he marked the turning point from where the villains turned from "I want to rule the world through pokemon" to "I want to change the world because I don't like it".

There is a pretty Awesome theory that links Cyrus back to the Rotom story in The Old Chateau. His Sister and their Butler died in the Fire, and because his Parents were still so Absentee, he never learned how to deal with the Trauma, and that's why as an adult he wants to get rid of Spirit & Emotion! If that Theory is actually True, Cyrus is an S for me!

I love the fact that you take the personality into account. Since it's an important aspect for character desgin as a whole. The personality, history and even goals of the character should come through in their desgin. They both inform one another and that's why so many of these desgins are so good at capturing that for these characters who have almost no time at all to convey who they are to the audience.
If N gets anything less than an S im gonna mald edit: brushes off the character with the most personality and character growth in all the main line games. meanwhile, Oleana was judged for her personality but one dimensional mafia boss gets an S. i dont understand

Assorted Thoughts: Professor Rowan is actually Oak's senior. The man is at the top of the Professor Pyramid. The interesting thing about Archer and Ariana is that they're based on Jesse and James. Archer has blue hair and a Wheezing, Ariana has red hair and an Arbok. It was the same in the originals, when they were just nameless Admins. I find Rose a lot more interesting that most. I think a lot of players failed to understand that ultimately Rose is a broken man. Galar used to be run-down and poor, basically Spikemouth but everywhere. Rose is the one that quite literally saved the region. He's running everything and the pressure of being the Saviour of Galar has caused him to become a little unhinged. His plan isn't even entirely terrible, he's just impatiant because he's spent years being told that only he can protect the region's prosperity. His theme reflects this: The lyrics seem to say "Rosa sedo credo" or "I believe in Rose"; everyone believes in Rose, and he can't let them down. In the anime, Anabel fancied Ash, and Lucy fell for Brock. And Brandon is one of the toughest non-Champion trainers the anime has ever presented.
Nah, just because he's his senior doesn't mean he's better or more respected. The oak tree is considered the king of the forest, and Oak is king of the Professors.

First, you can have glasses-wearing girls take them off and suddenly become beautiful, or have girls wearing glasses flashing those cute grins, or have girls stealing the protagonist's glasses and putting them on like, "Haha, got your glasses!" That's just way too cute! Also, boys with glasses! I really like when their glasses have that suspicious looking gleam, and it's amazing how it can look really cool or just be a joke. I really like how it can fulfill all those abstract needs. Being able to switch up the styles and colors of glasses based on your mood is a lot of fun too! It's actually so much fun! You have those half rim glasses, or the thick frame glasses, everything! It's like you're enjoying all these kinds of glasses at a buffet. Don't. You. Think. We. Really. Need. To. Officially. Give. Professor Burnet from Dream Radar, who is also Kukui's wife in SuMo Professor Willow from Go, normally I wouldn't count spinoff characters but Willow has interacted with Oak and is hinted to know other professors Professor Samson Oak from SuMo, Oak's cousin Faba from the Aether Foundation, counts as an Admin and betrays Aether to Rainbow Rocket

You turned one of the most terrifying villains in Pokemon (dude wanted to destroy literally *EVERYTHING* because why not) into "Giovanni's Juggalo brother"
You should do the unique NPCs like Zinnia, Cheryl, Riley, Looker, AZ, Sycamore's assistants, Sordward and Shielbert (personal F tier because of their hair), Cedric Juniper (Professor Juniper's dad), Lillie, etc. You can also use it as a second chance to rate Alder, since he's an NPC in Black and White 2.
It was disappointing to see N ranked less than an A tier. He's not solely liked for looking like a "pretty boy", his story line and personality are one of the most unique and attention drawing out of any pokemon game. He follows in his father's corrupt organization with the belief that he's making a better world for pokemon, the only beings he grew up with and understands. He sees trainers as abusive, but with the interactions between him and the protagonist, he slowly learns throughout the game that trainers and pokemon are meant to be together and work together as a team. And the ending with N's father was brutal. After it's revealed to N that he was just being used for Ghetsis's own selfish gain, he pretty much gets spit on and called a freak.. and then almost killed.. by his own dad.

Cyrus is pretty tame compared to the new villains, but he marked the turning point from where the villains turned from "I want to rule the world through pokemon" to "I want to change the world because I don't like it".

I love the fact that you take the personality into account. Since it's an important aspect for character desgin as a whole. The personality, history and even goals of the character should come through in their desgin. They both inform one another and that's why so many of these desgins are so good at capturing that for these characters who have almost no time at all to convey who they are to the audience.
Guzma getting S tier is what I’ve been waiting for this whole series.
I'll always love sun & moon beacuse of team skull and how they're essentially just the rejects of the pokemon world (like how they use bug pokemon).

Professor Rowan is actually Oak's senior. The man is at the top of the Professor Pyramid.
The interesting thing about Archer and Ariana is that they're based on Jesse and James. Archer has blue hair and a Wheezing, Ariana has red hair and an Arbok. It was the same in the originals, when they were just nameless Admins.
I find Rose a lot more interesting that most. I think a lot of players failed to understand that ultimately Rose is a broken man. Galar used to be run-down and poor, basically Spikemouth but everywhere. Rose is the one that quite literally saved the region. He's running everything and the pressure of being the Saviour of Galar has caused him to become a little unhinged. His plan isn't even entirely terrible, he's just impatiant because he's spent years being told that only he can protect the region's prosperity. His theme reflects this: The lyrics seem to say "Rosa sedo credo" or "I believe in Rose"; everyone believes in Rose, and he can't let them down.
In the anime, Anabel fancied Ash, and Lucy fell for Brock. And Brandon is one of the toughest non-Champion trainers the anime has ever presented.
Nah, just because he's his senior doesn't mean he's better or more respected. The oak tree is considered the king of the forest, and Oak is king of the Professors.

Glasses are really versatile. First, you can have glasses-wearing girls take them off and suddenly become beautiful, or have girls wearing glasses flashing those cute grins, or have girls stealing the protagonist's glasses and putting them on like, "Haha, got your glasses!"
