It was great chatting with you about this Nick, I guess I better get my video rapped up, lol. Look forward to the next opportunity to get out and shoot with you.

We will have to do it again Jason!
Ford Rapist Van !! Best ones out there. Great video Nick. Jasons Channel is awesome.
Two of my most favorite RUclips channels...Nick Page & Primal Outdoors.
Good stuff. I highly recommend this approach having done it myself.
Last year I spent 40 days and 9280 miles on a tour of 19 US Western states and snapped roughly 3,200 pictures. For the journey, I outfitted my Jeep Wrangler with a rooftop tent, 37" MickeyT Baja ATZ P3 tires, a 3.5" lift, and super duty shocks and clutch. My main concern was being out in the middle of nowhere sleeping with thousands of dollars of photo gear just beneath me. So I removed the back seat and installed a large steel security box in its place. I was able to get that Jeep into some really crazy places that a normal vehicle would never be able to get to. Because of the rooftop tent, I saved a ton of money, and it was easy to plan sunrise and sunset shoots.
Man excellent advice about just getting out there are starting. I’m starting to do that with my 2wd gmc truck and gaiagps to know where I’m going! Doing tent camping now and living it!
Congrats to you and the gang. The Zoom event w a s nearly flawless for me, and a huge amount of fun. Unprecedented. Creative as all hell. Just fantastic.
Thanks, man.
Totally dig this stuff man! There's a guy named Salty Davenport in Australia does some serious overlanding as well. He is a landscape photographer also.
More of this, please. Thank you, good sir!
Looking forward to it
Great advice. I bought a Habitent for my Honda Fit right before lockdown and can't wait to go out and use it. I can't offroad, but I can onroad somewhere!
Informative... loved the wisdom of how to start out over landing... 👍👍👍
Great video Nick. Been watching primal outdoors for some time. As a NW photographer and over lander I really enjoyed this.
I loved camping growing up but do to a bad back I lost interest which actually brought me to photography. Now I want to get out to more remote locations to make pictures and have been seriously looking into overlanding. I had already come across Jason’s channel and must say I am a big fan.
Great video Nick I enjoyed it very much. It is interesting to see how others approach their photography and love of the outdoors.
Couldn't be a more interesting video for me! I just got a Zr2 myself and love it! Same color too. I have big plans for some overlanding photography trips. Hope to see you do some more videos like this.
I have a1998 Jeep Cherokee Sports that I built
It is fully equipped for boondocking.
It toke me about 9 months to build
I'm on a limited income, and I'm retired. Ooo by the way my Jeep is 2wd and having no problem getting around with it .

Thanks a lot for the very interesting video!
He seems like a good guy. Subscribed to his channel. Thx.
I will be SO there! F4 rocks!!
And here I sit looking out the window at my new 2020 Tacoma patiently waiting for Mule to get my Alu-Cab in so I can join the likes of you guys beating up gear for one shot that nobody will ever see...AND SO WORTH IT!
You will love that canopy I love mine!
Good video, keep them coming!
Had fun at the premier.. it was the first one I have been able to join!
Great Interview.
Really enjoyed the conversation you guys had. Have fun on Saturday, May 30, 2020. It'll be a great day as it will also be my 77th birthday tomorrow.
Awesome! I'll be there - 10am PST is about 6pm GMT I think.. :)
Cool
Great interview. I had my AWD Sienna van, lifted 3 inches. Added "off road" tires. Haven't gotten stuck yet. I get reasonable gas mileage. Loaded with my e-bike, kayak, camera gear and solar.
I continue to enjoy full time traveling with this set-up.
Bloody awesome :)
I started out in a van back in the 70’s.
Now days I use a Jeep Rubicon.
My problem is it gets kinda creepy out there at night by yourself.
Just saying 🥴
Afternoon, Nick!
For visiting national parks, etc. across country, is there a vehicle you'd recommend to rent that's (a) commonly available as a rental and (b) you can overnight in if you have to?
Toyota 4 runners are a great option, but there are also tons of people that rent out their camper vans.. I did that when I went to Scotland. Check out Outdoorsy.com ... there are some pretty awesome vehicles for rent on there

After following you for years, spending hours watching your videos for having an additional reason to put a crazy 3AM wake up I found it totally normal to buy after watching the show to the end the F4. It was even more evident as I have been following Adam for years even before I found Thomas and I was listening to you in podcasts long before you started your very own one ..... As regards Gavin ... found him thanks to Adam but again ... Greg I know him thanks to BVS Brendan :) You guys have put so much effort in this I did not hesitate long :)I hope it worked for you :) I can imagine next time Sean join you ... If it wasn't for Tony Kuyper and Sean Bagshaw the luminosity masks would still be for me some myth ....
Thank you for the kind words! I hope you enjoy the course and find it a good value.
Catching the replay. That place is so idyllic, love it. Am also a subscriber to Jason's channel. Good stuff. I'll catch you on Saturday with my no-camera laptop. LOL Oh well. So looking forward to it.
It really was! looking forward to seeing you there!
@@NickPage Hey, I tried Jason's coffee for the first time this morning. YUM!! Thanks for the tip!
ooooooooh! F4 party!
Couldn't be a more perfect time for this video Nick, building my 2020 ZR2 Bison right now. Shell gets delivered Sat., Decked system gets delivered soon after. Very true start with the basics, see if you truly love Overlanding (lol) Then go for it, same can be said for photography. Looking forward to the F4 release Sat. RC
oh man your going to love it! I just leveled mine yesterday and put 33"s on. I love my Decked system as well, its a great set of drawers!
@@NickPage we'll have to talk, I've got a few questions, like did you re-gear ? and do they rub? Lol Would love to chat, let me know if you're up for it, RC
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road and adventure. We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Having done lots of off roading with combination trucks/ campers over 25 years, I have a recommendation for anyone considering the purchase of a similar vehicle .... rent one first. Once you have experienced the benefits and limitations of a truck/van camper, you will make better choices when it comes to purchasing.
totally agree
See ya Saturday :)
lol...the echo on Gavin's laugh at the end. Is it Saturday yet? :)
Yeah my last two little front wheel drive subcompacts have spent more time off road than the average 4wd SUV
Where there is a will there is ALWAYS a way.
Wish I could join the hangout but I will be out of coverage.
Am I sensing a change of vehicle again Nick?
Haha no no the zr2 is here to stay
Dangit, this Saturday, I'll be making my own next video, somewhere in the mysteriously large state of Texas.
Weird the sound was really distorted for the in-studio opening of this vid, but better with the outdoor segment.
Must be on your end somehow... What are you listening on?
@@NickPage pc with stereo speakers and subwoofer. If nobody else hears it, then it must be me. Your voice is certainly intelligible throughtout, but not as pleasant on the studio mike. I'll try listening to this on my phone to see if I hear the same effect.
Tried on phone. Much much less noticeable. Wouldn't notice the problem on the phone if i did not know it is there. Maybe you were a bit too close to the mike and it is slightly overloading on harsh constanants especially at beginning of words. Won't be an issue for most listeners' setups. Didn't realize how different this would sound on a phone.

Jason said “make baby steps” I thought he was going to say “make babies”
I haven’t got an email in over a month!
We only send them out when there is news you should be getting one tomorrow afternoon or evening
The first video for the F4 road trip was so funny I cried!!!🍆🤣🤣🤣
Hey I need help bringing the old man into the 21st century
