- It was a day of record heavy snowfall. With over 80cm of snow, it is difficult to walk even with snowshoes on. After setting up the hot tent, I was relieved, but something surprising happened at night.

He couldn’t have walked far. That deep requires a huge amount of energy. Plus that’s heavy wet snow too. Enjoyed the video and nice photographic work.
Need to get you one of those 30 second tents that open up like an umbrella. Be suitable for events and emergencies when trying to get in shelter to warm up and get a fire going as quickly as possible with a stove. Гавно а не палатка. Пола нет, место для дымохода точно посередине, в яме. И да, дырку прорезал для трубы минимум в полметра диаметром..

It's good to get some experience camping in these conditions, so when you have to for a long period of time, during the end times, you will be ready. Just remember to pack a bible of your language, for a practice run and then the real thing.😮 🎉 👍

I live in a snowy place, and what you experienced are all of my least favorite parts of winter, 1) being outside, 2) in really deep snow, 3) everything being damp when it warms up, 4) everything becoming super heavy because it's damp, 5) not really able to get warm enough to relax.
To each their own. Certainly, you survived this situation, and that's an accomplishment.
By the way folks, he's not an inexperienced camper. For those who think this is first time out, he's posted a bunch of videos with the same subject matter, but different equipment.

Удовольствие ниже среднего. Поставить печь и не закрыть одну сторону палатки о это ,чтотопить улицу. Напрасный труд. В крыше дыра и через нее уходит угарный газ. А снимать можно и из палатки закрытой.
Utah Jeff …. Here….pretty incredible snow fall …. Only thing I would have done differently is put a tarp with metal adjustable poles above the tent. It would keep it warmer inside the tent.
