- This is just 1 (of more than 140) "Vinyl to Digital" transfers of 12" Singles from the 1980's "New Wave" genre that I have in my own collection, that were done in my studio in the 1990's and put onto a personal 12 disc compiltation series - for the sake of archiving and preserving - as some of these original remixed versions may still only be available on vinyl, even today. Although the original source of these transfers are from vinyl records, with all the audio imperfections therein, I believe you will find these "cleaned up" recordings presented here of very decent quality. DIGITAL TRANSFER DATA: Yamaha PF-1000 Turntable to Mackie 32-8 Analog Mixer (Straight Through, No EQ) to Fostex D-5 (DAT Recorder) to HHB CDR-800 (CD Recorder) to a Computer (Ripped to MP3 @ 320kbps) then to WavePad Sound Editor Software (When Needed, for Correcting Minor Imperfections, if Possible).

Hey, thanks! I Appreciate it! Yes, they're all about the same audio quality as this one. And back in the day, I only played these records once or twice, just to get them onto cassette tapes, so it wasn't like they had a lot of wear on them when I decided to make them digital. Yes, there were things to clean on all of them, but thankfully, it wasn't as overwhelming as it could have been. On my channel, I am adding them to a playlist that I have there, that I created of this compilation. As I create a new video of another track from it, I add it to the playlist, so check back from time to time for more of them. As per your question, sorry, I do not have permission to sell this personal compilation of copyrighted material, so it is not available anywhere. Except in this form here, on youtube, as I upload more and share them. Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the message and compliment! 👍
Forgive me, this is not from 1980, this is the regular CD maxi of always on my mind from 1987, poster is fake...I have the maxi CD in my collection...
Uhhh... I put "1980's" (meaning it came from the 1980's, which includes the release year of 1987). And it IS off my own copy from a vinyl record, among 7 other Pet Shop Boys remixes I also have on vinyl. Maybe you should check out the internet for the vinyl record that I am talking about. It's easy enough to locate on there. Many people bought it back in the 80's. And I (personally) do not have the CD you are talking about, only the vinyl record.
@JoeyRubella I know this isn't necessary, but all one has to do is use the "Ask" AI feature and ask it if this version of the song was released on Vinyl. This immediately proves the person wrong who tried to accuse the OP/you of being fake. I immediately believed you , but figured I would just mention this for the naysayers. Thanks for posting this version of the song. This song is one of my top 5 favorite songs of the 80s and maybe even of all times.

I have a ton of 80's stuff however, even the more obscure titles and bands, non vinyl, but I'm not sure what I can or will do next. Any ideas? Haha. Anyway, I appreciate your support! 😊👍
