To be fair, Obi-Wan was on Utapau, hiding from Cody when Vader was slaughtering the younglings. There wasn't much he could have done. Great reaction as always!
That probably wasn't what she was referring to most likely it was about stopping his tern to the dark side that has been the theme of the series so far is obi-wans failure
When it comes to Anakin's fall, I would have to slightly fault Obi-Wan in the fact that him and Anakin, his apprentice, were always separating for no logical reason I can think of. With Obi knowing damn well the kind of mentality Anakin has, he practically raised him for goodness sake, I think he knows him pretty well by now. It's not all his fault though. It was just a perfect storm of events and circumstances that turned Anakin and was responsible for the fall of the empire and in turn order 66.
I actually never cared at all about the characters and I still teared up at that scene. The droid looking at her and the look of her face in the glow of his eyes really got me. Then they had to hit us with her last words being "may the force be with you" ... I'm not crying, your crying.
Give me your genuine, relatable reactions any day of the week, over the performative, egotistical ones from some 'popular' accounts - loved this! Well done!
If only people had the patience to let a story playout before utterly bitching and complaining they'd be happier. Almost every question was answered in this one episode. The cuts between the flashbacks and current time were done perfectly. Deborah is showing how Vader can be such a badass (knowing exactly who Reva was and her intentions the whole time), but also still has his padawan and young Jedi flaws in him (too focused on winning and getting tunnel vision and not thinking big picture) and is still susceptible to making mistakes. The parallels to Anakin and Obi Wan in the flashback to Vader vs Reva present were done perfectly. Love the parallels of the relationships between Master Obi Wan and Padawan Anakin/Vader. And Master Vader and Padawan/Apprentice Reva. Reva's mentality for winning and succeeding at all costs blinds her to the bigger picture, just like Anakin. Vader left her alive for a reason. She survived being stabbed as a child and he knows she can survive this too, or else he would have Dooku'd her Like many of us rational fans said, there was no way they killed off the Grand Inquisitor. I respect Reva more after getting some backstory, glad she's on her own side and out for revenge. Can't wait for Part 6
Was waiting for yalls reaction 😎. My boy Vader turned into IP man with the force when he was toying with Reva. The sickest Vader has looked for me in any SWs content, he's OP 😳. Loving this show so far, the flashbacks with Ani/Obi was the cherry on top!
Taking on Vader was her committing suicide. She stood like literally no chance against him. That deserves respect? It wasn’t a fight. It was a death wish.
@@jesserochon3103 I meant it in the way she had the courage to go against him all alone and isn’t confirmed that she died also and most fear Vader why you think most survive Jedi are hiding
Reva picked the worst possible time to face vader. He's at his strongest when he's mad, and he was full on PISSED when she tried to jump him. He proceeded to become the master and school her with the force tho. Padawan ascendance status = completed
Seeing Hayden aka Anakin as in the prequel flashbacks literally i cried about throughout that scene . But from starting to ending this episode was surreal . I think they needed to use the OG imperial March Vader theme song , not a remix I don't get it , why is everyone trying to fight Darth Vader Man you get fight time cause he wanna play with you, if really wanted to fight , well you dead before starting The way he just crashed a fking spaceship just in his force , that's so sick Loved your guys reaction and reviews
Loved watching you both react so similarly to how J and I reacted :) The Vader sequences were ones for the ages. Read a good Instagram post today that suggested ESB really shows how much Vader wanted his son by his side - had he fought to this level of his abilities, Luke would have been pizza sauce within seconds...
At the beginning, while anakin was waiting for Obi wan, the big building he stared at 500 republica is where Padme live. Also George Lucas said that a fully heal Anakin had the potential to be 3times stronger than Palpatine, but with his injury he is only 80℅ of Palpatine, imagine how strong that will be, even dooku in Clone wars when he fought Obi and Anakin, dooku said that a padawan Anakin is better than obi wan at lightsaber fighting but obi master his defense during clone Wars and the overconfidence of anakin and his lack of experience in the dark side hinder him a lot and he lost in mustafar....
Awesome reaction -- love watching you be so immersed and enjoying it so. This was definitely one of my favorite Star Wars things -- even though it had its flaws and plotholes, they didn't come close to overwhelming the highs for me. Also, hearing the prequel term "youngling" in Vader voice? _Extremely_ validating and rewarding. Oh, and I think this was by far Hayden's best portrayal of Anakin. I was way more bought into the through-line of him as a padawan through to being a Sith lord than I did in the prequels.
I've also heard rumors they are talking about coming out with a Vader spinoff series that is totally focused on Vader and his adventures and Hayden is down with doing it...that would be bada$$!!
After this episode I’m really hoping that Reva is against Obi Wan and Vader and is her own side. I think that makes her a lot more interesting rather than her just being a good guy. I want to see her take a path similar to Maul. We’ll have to see if the Path is mentioned in the Bad Batch or Andor.
There has to be another series. Just a thought but the big scar Vader has on his head in RofTJ isn't present when Vader is in the bacta tank in this series. Maybe a clue to what happens in ep 6 🤷♂️
I think she goes after Obi Wan for abandoning her in her fight with Vader, she’s angry at Obi Wan. If she threatens Luke, the full Obi Wan will kill her without remorse.
Your reaction to him catching the ship was exactly like mine. The one thing that bugs me is her blaming Obi-Wan. It's like she knows EVERYTHING about him. Except, somehow, that he was like the head General of THE CLONE WARS fighting and winning the final battle of THE CLONE WARS that had been going on for her entire life at that point. I feel like common people know that except an Inquisitor wouldn't? Not to mention if you re-watch Revenge of the Sith watch how the vast majority of the Jedi, including the Younglings as shown here, die. It's like ONE blaster shot from behind or one swing with a Light Saber. Obi-Wan cut all his limbs off and set him on fire using LAVA. From a Jedi point of view that's beyond overkill. How could anyone have known Anakin was less Jedi and more T-1000 from Terminator 2 where freezing it in Liquid Nitrogen and then shooting it in to a million pieces just pisses it off? What more could he have done? And one last point she knew in episode 2 that he thought he had killed him and until this one didn't know she was a Youngling. Where was he? Winning Galactic Wars trying to bring peace to the Republic and then living in retirement after believing he had avenged her family after learning Anakin had betrayed him and the entire Jedi order that's where. I get she's blinded by rage, but it's like girl, breath, relax, and realize this man did more for you without even knowing it than anybody else. Maybe a thank you for trying and this time we'll make sure he dies for good? Just saying it might have gone better than say fighting Vader 1 on 1 after you saw him rip a ship clean out of the sky without breaking a sweat.
Love y'all's reaction. 👍Given. Please increase the volume of the source video in future reactions. I understand the Disney copywrite blockade and all, limiting how much source video you can show but you can at least raise the volume so viewers can at least "hear" what you're reacting to since we can barely "see it". Keep doing good work FZ!
I was fully invested in the Reva character. Right up until Vader drilled her with not one, but two lightsabers and she lived. Her part in ep 6 is dead to me.
You guys need to match the audio from the show to yours or at least make it near the same level i had to repeatedly play with the volume up and down to watch this video
I love checking out the "hater" comments and see what they say. They make good sound points sometimes, even the people who love it will point out some of these logistical problems (which you're always going to have btw) but they don't dwell on these stupid little problems. It is so amusing to see these miserable people reflecting their own short comings in life. They complain about the writing and I ask them what have they written lately? Are they expert screenplay writers? More than likely the answer is no. They say those that can't do, teach. I say those that can't do, talk crap about those that can do. I Lmao at these people getting so upset over a show ... A FICTIONAL sci-fi space adventure. Let that sink in. It's even crazier when you have all the people talking about Clone Wars and Rebels and canon. There are millions of Casual Star Wars fans that have never seen these at all. The people at Disney seem to take the approach, the needs of the many out way the needs of the few and I really don't blame them. So let those "toxic SW fans" run their mouths (which they will always do) and just laugh at them. It really pisses them off. 😂 Sorry for the long reply, I get carried away on this subject.
You don't have to be a chef to be able to tell a if noodles boiled for 60 minutes are overcooked. In the same manner you don't have to be a screen writer to tell when a story is written not very well. Continuity and canon are some very basic aspects that give fictional and non fictional stories depth and life. In some of that fictional sci fi space adventure people find something they can learn from. Especially the story of Anakin Skywalker.
i never felt bad for her she did so much evil and terrible things there is 0 reason to feel bad for her and she opposed lord Vader so she is enemy by default
If Vader can pull back an escaping Starship then why, many years later when presumably even stronger with the Force, does he allow the Tantive IV to fly away from a hangar bay at the end of Rogue One❓ Disney don’t give a damn about joining storylines together, they just make it more and more contrived and complicated to have any continuity. It’s not Star Wars, this is just totally disrespecting the legacy of George Lucas… Disney do not have a clue about what Star Wars is, the majority of fan-fiction productions on RUclips are far superior. Ewan McGregor surely cannot think he’s been part of something amazing, can he❓He either thinks that and loses all credibility or he just did it for the pay off and loses all credibility. Oh dear, Ewan why❓
With the comments about Ewan McGregor I just had to add I seen a 2016 interview with Ewan where they asked him if he would ever want to comprise his role as Obi-Wan and he answered with a resounding no. He went on to say that he never actually liked Star Wars and he could never understand why anyone likes it. He was obviously there for the handsome paycheck he received. Alec Guinness was the same way, he hated Star Wars, which he stated many times. Maybe the two actors have more in common than we thought. So I ask, if the lead actor in the show don't give a sh*t than why should we.
Most of these people behind the camera don't care. A lot of them haven't even watched Star Wars or care to rewatch it before writing for the franchise. Hence all the plot holes and story breaking dialogue. They ruined all the legacy characters while creating hollow new ones.
To bad people don't agree with ya, since u know the Disney star wars been doing good minus the sequels but Disney is already erasing those so yeah. At the end of the day it's still just a show and nothing to get worked up about.
Coolest line of the episode: "You're not bringing him to me ... I'm ... bringing him ... to you!"

Seeing anakin again was awesome
This episode was perfect and everything I could've hoped for
