What I find very frustrating about both of them is that neither are forthcoming about the true cost of running a shop on their platform. They list all of the options available, but until you get into it and find out that a lot of those features are add-ons that require an additional cost. Wix is probably the best for me in terms of design flexibility but I have a feeling the cost will quickly exceed those of other site builders.

Shopify starter: 400rs ($4.8) 2. Wix core: 500rs ($6.01) I am pretty confused which one should i pick. Cus with wix i am also getting a free domain for 1 year and also more customization. however everyone is saying shopify is better for e-commerce. Please help. BTW thanks for the video. What is your opinion of having both just linking your Wix to your Shopify? I have a Shopify, but I'm a content creator, and I want people to have access to my videos and how-tos. But that has been difficult on just Shopify. But I have loved using Shopify for sales and have it linked to my social media.
best comparison video! I was so frustrated Shopify required so many 3rd party apps to do basic functions, and it was getting expensive. I wanted to switch to wix, but i guess ecommerce is better on shopify.....*sigh*
Great video. I literally have been back and forth on what to use. I found a 50% coupon for WIX and it worked on the 3 year plan so I pulled the trigger. I loved Shopify simplicity but found that it is limited for my use as I need to create invoices sometimes. I also need the ability to create my own custom categories. I could not find the abilty to do that in Shopify. If so I would have used it as I did love how simple it is.
I'm genuinely curious - if I foresee it and plan to run an business selling physical product not part time but full time, and for it to become a million-dollar business, how could I use Shopify or, could that work? I mean, I can't imagine Patagonia, apple, or Marks & Spencer selling product on Shopify opposed to their own website. So, if feels like I should have my own ecommerce website since I won't be doing a side hustle, yet there seems to be a huge leaning towards Shopify. Could anyone please share some insight? Thank you very much in advance ❤🎉
FYI you can set Wix to an auto tax-er that will automatically change the tax rate for where the person lives. You can also purchase and print shipping labels within the Wix platform for the individual orders. In the video it says Wix can NOT do either of these. That is not true since I use both of those options all the time.

Shopify, too cotsly and vely limited customization features. SHOPIFY SUCKS for the price WIX i am just trying but its drag and drop is soooooo convinent.
