Another really nice video! Short and sweet. Did you make the metal drawer carcasses (is that the right term?) in the last shot? Looks good. I have only had experience making one metal drawer but have a list of a dozen I want to build to custom fit various frames/rollers I have around my workshop. I made a sheet metal folder to do it which was great fun but it has its limitations!

      Thanks Andreas!
Yes i made them, the drawers themselfs are plywood, and the surrounding cabinet is a metal structure.
I am also interested in a sheet metal bender, do you have some tips/recommendations?

@@ChristophLehner I watched a few well known videos on RUclips for design ideas, primarily Brian Oltragge, The Other Finnish Guy, Forme Industrious and couple of others. The wider the capacity, the greater the force so you'll absolutely need to use bracing to counteract. Second is make it adjustable front to back to deal with different gauges of sheet metal. Don't use lever style handles for clamping down the top of the bender as they can get in the way. The bender gets really front heavy so you need to have a good way to secure it to a heavy base or worktable. Don't use threaded connectors for the bending handles as it takes forever to get them on and off and you'll want to be able to store it away when not using it. Don't paint it, but use some sort of corrosion protection that will wear OK and be easy to reapply. If you make your own hinges, beware too thick of a weld bead as it can interfere with the range of motion. That's probably it 😅 looking forward to seeing your version in the future
