I love this guy, if I’m old and needing help I’d want this energy around. He’s extremely positive and you can tell the relationship started way before he started actually filming it. He just wanted to capture it and share the feelings. I wish my mother's caregivers would sing and dance for her! I would not complain. My 91-year-old mother is in a skilled nursing facility, and my sister and I dance and sing for her songs she loved in the 1960s and 70s. We were born in Detroit, MI, and my parents loved Motown music - on the radio, records, and on TV. As kids, we used to pretend we were Motown groups and do "pretend" performances. So to bring some joy to my mother in her last phase of life, we we recreate those moments. My mother loved all of our moves and how we belted out the songs- even though we had to look at the lyerics on our cell phones from time to time. One of the staffers came by and I thought we'd be told to hush up. To my surprise, she told me that they had microphones and a sound system in the recreation room, and asked us if some day we could perform for all of the residents. Those old songs and moves can be updated in humorous and creative ways. We sang "My girl" by the Temptations. Instead of singing "my girl", we sand "my mom". What a smile that brought to her face!
I love this young man, we need so many more like him especially trusting him with our loved ones that needs the care he is able to give with a lot of laughter and life he brings to them . God bless Cornell
I hope you get a good labor law lawyer, you’ll definitely have a case that might have a huge monetary award and fine the company that did not properly terminate your employment, no investigation, no corrective action to correct the behavior that they feel warranted the termination, no warning, any write ups ..??? , cause they need a little more than that to illegally terminate, you have employees rights as a human being, and I believe there was an unjustified or unjustly termination!!!! Call around to a bunch of lawyers they will point you to the guy or lawyer that is ready to fight for your justice , that’s not right how they treated your working relationship!!! Call a lawyer in labor law

I once was a PA myself and did similar work with those that had disabilities, and I learned so much from that experience. For someone that is more confined to their home because of a disability, and someone that doesn't get the opportunity often to go out and meet a lot of new people, having a friend like this is one of the most important aspects of their overall health. Many people take it for-granted that they have the ability and the means to go out to wherever they want, whenever they want and they don't have to be lonely or isolated. Bringing someone happiness like this is incredible and I am sure the people he works with appreciate everything he does more than they could possibly express.

I was a caregiver for 4 years with integrity hhc. Companionship is on the dang list clear as day! It was a tough job but met some of the coolest people. Lot of "different" ones, but a lot of cool ones. It's a tough job. I started at 7.95 an hr back in 2010.

I have worked in this field and sadly the amount of people in it that truly care for the people they serve are so very few. Seeing one of those few be terminated for no good reason hurts my heart. I hope this hero continues to spread kindness and love to those who need it so dearly.
Sad I work at a crisis respite I can assure you the clients be loving this type of attention from their caregivers…..a majority of clients don’t even have family and if they do you’ll hardly ever see them … it’s sad to watch someone depressed and sick deteriorating in a room all day this man is clearly suffering providing quality of life !

I was a caregiver for many years and helped so many people with disabilities, but I’ve moved on and was burned out. Since 2020 I’ve changed my career . Would never go back , had my time with that. As a caregiver you have to be patient and creative. The pay is crappy for the selfishness you give.

i was a caregiver and as time went on they became a great part of my life. Workers told them they couldn't go to the fair one day so I got one client a watch and the other a cool bookmark.....this didn't sit well with management. I was fired and told they could actually sue me for giving "love gifts" insinuating that these were romantic gifts. Sickening to see how far a system will go to remain in full control over workers who honestly care and are passionate about their jobs. I hope God is taking care of all these clients who lost a wonderful care taker 😢

Mr. Carnell Nichols sorry you lost your job and your client passed away, I love your energy you work so well with your client, I can relate well with you I worked in many group homes and where the staff would abused the clients steal their belongs and I reported the issues everyone turned on me, but I just completed my Phlebotomy class I am finally on my way, on the other hand my younger brother is deaf and handicapped my biggest fear is someone would abused him thank God, he still lives with our mother, I love shopping for him monthly, and I use to love shopping for the clients I was criticized for taking the clients to the hair salon, getting their nail done and clothes shopping while my co-workers would be sleep and eating their food and destroying their vehicles, what a world we live in, God, will provide for you always, the only way I would ever step into another group home is I would have to operate it, it takes compassion, integrity and loving people to care for the elderly and handicapped people remember God, is walking with you everyday blessings.

I once was a PA myself and did similar work with those that had disabilities, and I learned so much from that experience. For someone that is more confined to their home because of a disability, and someone that doesn't get the opportunity often to go out and meet a lot of new people, having a friend like this is one of the most important aspects of their overall health. Many people take it for-granted that they have the ability and the means to go out to wherever they want, whenever they want and they don't have to be lonely or isolated. Bringing someone happiness like this is incredible and I am sure the people he works with appreciate everything he does more than they could possibly express.
I would love to have him as my caregiver he's being positive and the patient enjoys his charismatic personality new innovative ways to interact with disabled people way to go 💯

I was a caregiver for 4 years with integrity hhc. Companionship is on the dang list clear as day! It was a tough job but met some of the coolest people. Lot of "different" ones, but a lot of cool ones. It's a tough job. I started at 7.95 an hr back in 2010.
You're an angel. I volunteer for the elderly in my hometown. Im a cook. I'll never be on your level, my man. Keep doing God's work. You've already claimed your place in heaven.
I have worked in this field and sadly the amount of people in it that truly care for the people they serve are so very few. Seeing one of those few be terminated for no good reason hurts my heart.

Sad I work at a crisis respite I can assure you the clients be loving this type of attention from their caregivers…..a majority of clients don’t even have family and if they do you’ll hardly ever see them … it’s sad to watch someone depressed and sick deteriorating in a room all day this man is clearly suffering providing quality of life !

I was a caregiver for many years and helped so many people with disabilities, but I’ve moved on and was burned out. Since 2020 I’ve changed my career . Would never go back , had my time with that. As a caregiver you have to be patient and creative. The pay is crappy for the selfishness you give.

I'm a caregiver myself and nobody truly appreciate all the hard work we do especially for the pay that we get to take care of another human. When i saw your first video with a client,i was amazed and hurt at the same time,i know how some patients and families are.I applauded the young man, and wished my ex still did staffing,he would never worry about a job.Caregiving is in your heart,you either have it,or you dont.You can learn technical skills,but a caregiver us called to it.What he did for his patients/ clients cannot be taught! i was a caregiver and as time went on they became a great part of my life. Workers told them they couldn't go to the fair one day so I got one client a watch and the other a cool bookmark.....this didn't sit well with management.
I was fired and told they could actually sue me for giving "love gifts" insinuating that these were romantic gifts. Sickening to see how far a system will go to remain in full control over workers who honestly care and are passionate about their jobs.
I hope God is taking care of all these clients who lost a wonderful care taker 😢

Mr. Carnell Nichols sorry you lost your job and your client passed away, I love your energy you work so well with your client, I can relate well with you I worked in many group homes and where the staff would abused the clients steal their belongs and I reported the issues everyone turned on me, but I just completed my Phlebotomy class I am finally on my way, on the other hand my younger brother is deaf and handicapped my biggest fear is someone would abused him thank God, he still lives with our mother, I love shopping for him monthly, and I use to love shopping for the clients I was criticized for taking the clients to the hair salon, getting their nail done and clothes shopping while my co-workers would be sleep and eating their food and destroying their vehicles, what a world we live in, God, will provide for you always, the only way I would ever step into another group home is I would have to operate it, it takes compassion, integrity and loving people to care for the elderly and handicapped people remember God, is walking with you everyday blessings.
