I'm happy that most tech companies are switching back to a gradiated look for their icons, finally getting rid of the flat, simple solid icons, bringing back the old detailed style
The Windows Taskbar has evolved from just showing the time and volume to showing a series of icons, notifications, and live feeds like weather. It may of seemed that things didn’t used to be that complicated.
You forgot the Internet Explorer 4 Platform Preview, truly one of the most interesting ones. It introduced the 7-like Show Desktop button but back in 1995/6
That is a beta version, 6801 of 7 had a diffrent taskbar, but it isn’t necessary to really say Beta version, as you can know if it’s a beta if it isn’t a RTM release or it’s higher than the initial RTM release of that Windows. For example 10 1903 is official, but 10 21H1 is latest etc.
Vista’s taskbar in the final/RTM version is a bit transparent (if you look closely) when the Aero theme is activated, but not glassy and transparent as Longhorn Build 4074’s.
And now I love Windows XP And Windows Vista And Windows 7 And Windows 8 And Windows 8.1 And Windows 10 And Windows 11 too but Taskbar I can't put the apps and someother stuff on the Taskbar I can't and top left or right and even title bars colors and start menu size in windows 11 I can't do so windows 10 is cool I do love windows 11
I love the windows Taskbar like 95 98 2000 Me Whistler XP And Longhorn Vista And 7 8 and 8.1 and 10 and 21h1 and 10x and 11 because they are cool and awesome

Unnecessary and wrong changes in the registry can brick your system. Its advisable to not to touch the registry unless you know the consequences. Windows 11 taskbar is redesigned from scratch and hence, some features are missing. You may need to wait for a few more updates to get those features back

Windows 8 build 8250 is just the windows 7 transparent taskbar but there is a different wallpaper and some slightly new tray icons Edit: there is no desktop button on the right side like there normally was
Not all was hard. Windows 95 - 7 was easy. But on Windows 10, the OOBE is hard because you need to sign in to your Microsoft account to continue. And you need a network to install Windows 10.

Before build 22000.x, you can make taskbar display seconds on time with win10. But unfortunately, win11 is currently not supported anymore.

oh the Longhorn build 4074, they actually switched to the "Windows Glass" style UI taskbar, but sadly they went back on the solid color taskbar
