    Very helpful. Thanks. I managed to do this with the dishwasher in place. I just had to lie on the floor a few times. My dishwasher is hardwired, so pulling it out is a little more work. Took me less than 5 minutes.

    Why use pliers on a plastic nut when a wrench is the appropriate tool and won't deform the plastic?

    Wouldn't it have been easier to remove the door ?

      Removing the door wouldn't be needed for this repair since you can access the part without taking it off.
