two of my favorite mk players, Rewind miss them mkx days. I'm right there with him. No scrubby fatal blows and hold that damage no rolling away, get up or flawless blocks. Adapt or die lol. I love it.

There is an answer for jump 3s there is something called a up block that's in the game which match you plus I'd you time it correctly but it losses to grab and lows if your just blocking and holding up

Mkx pace. The could do the best mk of all time with this grafics and a mkx kinda mechanics. But they still choose a noob friendly combo/ mechanic gameplay
Mkx if you missed a sec, you'd lose 40% of your health in high lvl kombats. I miss those days
You mean no neutral and just mix? It doesn’t take much to press a run button and 50/50 your opponent to death😂
@@akwl0l812 i mean the long distance combos, you could start a combo in the middle of the stage and end in the corner. How fast the movement was. I feel the game só slow after mkx. The distance from both characters didnt matter as much as now, since you could run. These details were cool think.

See sonicfoxs comment on it.... Said it could be the best fighting game he's ever played.... He loved it... I'm sure he'll drop the video... Theres a new mechanic, for people jump attacking you can block high... If you time it right you have zero recovery time and can punish....

NRS do not not nerf these characters coming out of the Beta. The watered down MK11 till the characters had nothing left but specials please Ed Boon do not do this let the game rock for a few months then make changes hopefully buffs to weaker characters no more nerfs.

If nobody is gonna say it then I gotta put it out there… NOT a fan of this Cameo thing going on, but I do think it would be better if the cameo fighting had its own mode for those who enjoy it. It definitely should not be the main Kombat fighting in my opinion.

Y’all play with swag and entertain the fans with your game play, rather than sweating and cheesing your way to wins like those other two guys. Everyone on their nuts right now but it’s to be expected, fans always flock to the new talent when they are tired of seeing their current favorites win all the time.

Another thing confirmed is wakeup/getup specials. Kenshi does it during Ed's speech. So no more up2/up3 wakeups probably.

Looks like a flashier mk11. Movement doesn’t look worse, but doesn’t really look better either.
They have a up block mechanic now for jumping attacks. Hold up and block at the right time (like flawless block) and you get kombo opportunity.

I loved Air Combos in MK Armageddon. So happy to see them again. This game looks interesting but too cartoonish - Injustice meets Street Fighter. A bit sad Sonya, Jax and Stryker are only Kameo fighters. New arenas look fantastic though.

They are not not only Kameos. Kameo characters will be main roster as well

I'm confused as to what he means by it looks like a slower game. When MK11 was first showed off people said it looked really slow because characters had a slow walk speed and the dash wasn't that great, then the demo came out and that same thing held to be true. It wasn't until later that people discovered you could wave dash. But that was needed because the game itself was pretty slow. This looks faster than MK11 without wave dashing. Now Imagine if wave dashing is still in the game.

The movement in MK1 is fast-paced and fluid!
One thing that I really like about this game is the fucken backgrounds and colors. Everything is so colorful and beautiful. MK11 looked kinda ugly and mkx had no color.

@Jae Rell I mean raiden was always based off of a Japanese God, so anyone with common knowledge knew the game version of raiden wasn't supposed to be white. The movie made that popular. Besides kenshi has always had an accent and raiden always dressed like a Japanese character.

It looks like the characters definitely have better walk speed and the dashes look way better than MK11 first showing before they made them a little better (but still sucked). The creativity of Kameos and air combos will lead to some really interesting game play and not the cookie cutter combos of MK11.

Not sure if you guys finally figured out the plot by now, but in case you're still confused about what's going on.. This is essentially a brand new story with existing characters who all have different identities, backstories and relationships with one another. So, think of it as a total reset. Forget everything you know about Mortal Kombat in terms of its story over the past 30 years and pretend that this is the first time you're being introduced to it lol.
