On Westwoods Osprey each year our club have a trip, we all ‘ton’ or a ‘few double ton’. think it was one of the best kept secrets and hopefully fisho final will produce & give Alan & his family the credit of keeping a 1st class fishery consistently consistent. I brock the lake record at Newbridge Farm fishery in Liverpool two days on the run fishing shallow... 133lb day one and 183lb on the second day.
Still stands today from 4years ago.

Excellent insight with some great tips. My best f1 weight was 40lb at tricklebrook fisheries in paddock wood. Only started match fishing again last 2 years and realised what I was missing. Now I cannot get out enough. The bug has got me well and truly hooked again.

Paul and Matt thank yo for a very informative video. There are some cracking tips especially the light touch of pressing micros into pole pot and biggest for me is the slapping tip. It makes sense when shown the large single noise of the maggots and not the multitude of noise I have made slapping numerous times. This is one of the many tips I will be using.

Hi Paul and the Guru team. My best match weight of F1's was at lodge farm fishery a few years back on long island. My club rival was pegged at the side of me and started catching on the method straight away while I persevered with pole and caster up in the water. After 2 hours I was 50lb behind and getting stick big time. Then the F1's turned up and for the remainder of the match I put 167lb of them in my nets, beating my rival by 19lb! A wonderful day!

130lbs Osprey Westwood Lakes… baffled by stocking level of f1’s 1st time visited… watched some RUclips videos before second visit and this was the result! Busy fishing is an understatement!
Not loads of F1 venues down near me but had a great day at Claygate shallow fishing recently, easy 130lb+

I have never had a weight of F1's as my local commercial is stocked mainly with carp, ide, skimmers and barbel but I am moving home and will be living close to Partridge Lakes very soon, so a few rigs that are perfect for the F1's would be a great addition to my rig tray. I can look forward to putting them to good use and hopefully get myself some nice bags of F1's. Thanks Guru

Biggest ever weight was 30lbs at Harescombe near Gloucester, not a big weight but was my first attempt and good enough for 2nd on the day. Hopefully when I'm back in 2 weeks I'll put a bigger net toighether!

My best weights of f1s have come from westwood lakes (love the place) on osprey 178lb & skylark lake 214lb but the best part was smashing up my old man in the matches 😁

I've only started fishing again the last couple of years and only found out what F1s were about a year ago 🙈. But the club I'm a member of is full of them, I'd probably say my best bag so far is around 40lb but I'm still getting used to pole fishing as I'm mainly a feeder angler. Can't beat the presentation with a pole now though! 💪🤞
209lb 12oz on osprey in February. Amazing days fishing. I think 15 were on the lake and everyone had over 120lb.

90lb 10oz on Heron at Ivy House. Most caught down the edge in 18 inches of water.

Biggest F1 weight is 184lb 4oz from the willow lake, peg 23 at decoy lakes in Peterborough all caught shalla on hair rigged worm head feeding casters and I went over in one net 😞 so got knocked back aswell ..
