With Each episode it keeps climbing the ladder in the Disney era Star Wars . I’m enjoying the ever loving shit out of this series. It is so consistent in tone and humor and story. The story keeps moving I love it
I just **knew** it was gonna be a mint/reserve, not only because of the condition of the credits, but because they seemed so inflated. Also, I’m glad for once they subverted the big lightsaber moment. These kids are not the supernaturally precocious kids of modern movies, they’re in over their heads and they make things worse just as often as they succeed.
I knew the betrayal was coming, but OOF! I did notice the captain had the same voice as SM-33, and there's definitely a reason they corrupted the video they didn't show his face. I also wonder if Jod ending the log where he did and not getting all the info will come back bite him. Excellent episode, thank you for getting this reaction out so quickly! Happy holidays!
I think he's been trying to gain control so that he CAN protect the kids, but they keep getting told to not trust him. That creates the problems/issues they fall into. When he said to hold them for mutiny, I think that was to keep them out of harms way. Things are rather deceiving so far 🙂
Maybe, but the only supporting factor to this is that he didn't just kill the kids. Honestly, I think he is just going to go through the traditional "Thug to Hero" type of arc. His pirate tendencies have been a minor conflict for his character sense he encountered the kids. He has actively chosen to go against them on a few occasions where he could have just left them behind. The kids have no upfront value, even as hostages. The Supervisor has done little to nothing to help the parents and that tells me they would be more likely to shoot down the ship entering At Atten before paying him for the kids safe return. Then they would just blame it on him and say he killed them before they shot the ship down and use it as propaganda to enforce the importance of not going through the barrier. Makes a lot more sense that he is going to play into his Pirate role here, and either have a Jack Sparrow like arc where he will keep to his pirate life but also find ways to help the kids or he is going to have another moment where he has to choose his life as a pirate or the kids and he chooses the kids. One of the two. I can also see Neel being a push for change. We have established by now that he has the ability to use the force and now he has a lightsaber too. His little speech to Neel may come back around about making his life the life he wants to have and Neel pushing him to be a Jedi. Obviously Neel is being a but naïve but I can still see a line of play where Neel gets to him and is reminded of how people used to look upon the Jedi or think of them. I am still curious though what they mean when they say "Old Republic" and if that is referring to the Old Republic back during the Sith Empire or if we are talking about Clone Wars Republic Era. I have not seen or heard any material refer to the Clone Wars Era as the Old Republic and it would fit rather well if this planet has been in hiding for thousands of years. The only down side to this is that the theory of the old captain being the supervisor would be shot dead here unless he took over the planet after he found it.
I was wondering if Jod took over as captain and goes to At Attin for himself, just to protect the kids. I don't know if he's really after the treasure or not.
Pokkit is played by Kelly Maxdonald who voices Merida in the movie Brave. I heard her voice and was like "Wait..is that Merida?!" and i did some digging and it is!!!
This episode felt the most like _Pirates of the Caribbean_ so far and I loved it. Jod's been acting like Captain Jack Sparrow for most of the show but he went full COTB Barbossa at the end, at least that's how it appeared. Fern was giving me baby Elizabeth Swann vibes too. Daughter of a high-ranking member of society gets kidnapped by a pirate, sasses said pirate while also demonstrating similar personality traits, pirate accidentally becomes a mentor/paternal/weird uncle figure, she becomes Captain at one point, she gets double-crossed by weird uncle pirate - they're Barbossa and Elizabeth in space
I think the former captain/supervisor is one of Neel's species. There is a statue in the secret lair and in the square on At Attin and they are both Neel's species. Also Rennod's hand in the holo looked kinda blue.
Jod may have ran off or kicked out as a padawan. He's not evil nor good, he just wants to use the Force for fun/treasure hunting. Which places him in a gray area between a Jedi and a Sith. (maybe lol)
Can you imagine where the final 3 episodes go from here? Escape the pirates lair, get off world on a planet that doesn’t allow kids with no remaining credits, and stop Jod?
I have a theory that jod was kidnapped as a youngling by pirates so he learned the life of the pirate and at some point he learned he was force sensative and probably gonna be Jedi before the pirates kidnapped him but accepted his fate and tried to fill his life with meaningless riches because that’s all he knew was pirating and he wanted to escape that life that’s why he tells wim to forget about his parents so he doesn’t have hope of getting home since jods parents are actually dead meaning wim might end up going through the same
Jod is not the bad guy, he's just not the "nice" guy. This is not the sanitized SWU, this is the gritty underside, and this is where the line blurs between lightside/darkside, you get to see a little of the gray side of the force. This is the part of the Universe I want to wander in... safely... but yeah.
Perhaps Judd is a survivor of the temple, maybe even the little boy who asked Anakin what they should do... Saw all his friends killed, would change a kids perspective drastically.
Called it when it came to the secret of At Attin. I thought it was a republic fort knox/mint. The clues were there. 1. The Kids lunch money was incredibly valuable to the outside. 2. The planet was kept hidden with limited outside contact. 3. All the adults were analysts, accountants etc. 4. Remember what the kids were being actually be taught. The instructor was talking about financial flows and currency movements of various planets. I think At Attin still is a functioning mint for whoever the successor state of the republic was. The adults are still doing work for 'the republic'. The Great work continues. The real question is, were they acting as the Mint for the Empire? And who are they Mint for now? The New Republic or the First Order!
Yep, for me Jod is definitelly a Order 66 survivor and a fallen one at that. Between his talk with Win about attachments and later his betrayal of Fern and the other kids. Now to wait for the eventual redemption by the last episode.
That’s a possibility but I don’t see that since jod never pursues destruction or killing most people he betrays are still alive if anything he’s a coward that uses people for his own benefits in the same light why he also wouldn’t be a Jedi my theory he’s force sensitive without ever going through the training to be a Jedi for good or to fall from grace to then becoming a sith to control capital cities and underworlds
We all should of seen this coming from Jod Silvo especially if you read Treasure Island or watch any film adaptation of the book. Jod Silvo(Sw)=John Silver(TI)
He'd have to bleed the crystal first. He's neither Jedi nor SIth, but he is a force user probably a failed padawan who managed to escape Order 66. I suspect he was probably on his first mission when his master was killed and he's been on the run ever since changing his name every few months or years to remain hidden. He was trustworthy once, but now he's so steeped in being deceptive, he can't stop.
@@LordGrokken i still think it could happen. i know about the bleeding but as seen in the Acolyte, it can happen rather fast. your most likely right. i still just got this weird feeling
Yeah I think Jod used to be a padawan or at least a youngling and to his credit he could've let the kids down there to rot instead he's taking them with him
Honestly this episode sucks, like from the parent who is acting like a child, to the kids dressing up and fooling the grownups. But there is something good about this episode, 21:39 helps brighten things up.
this show is sooo damn goood i dont ever want it to end! merry christmas to those that celebrate!!❤💚

Absolutely agree! This is peak SW for me. Loving the story, the characters & all the world building. What a great show ❤❤
when wim’s dad got caught he reminded me of wim so much lol. apple doesnt fall far from the tree
"What's a concubine?" had me rolling😂
The "most wise elders" are giving "three cats in a trench coat" and I love it! 🤣

Crazy theory, Wim's mom was a Jedi.
Thanks for dropping this tonight. Happy Holidays!!

Could be… plus they would probably make a good ransom for AT-ATin
Either way if he wanted to hurt or kill … he could have just done that right there
Maybe, but the only supporting factor to this is that he didn't just kill the kids.

Possibly the case but damn, if he would just be honest with them!

I would not be surprised if the supervisor is a pirate
Or maybe the pirate who took over that ship??? Or a clone of Moth Gideon ? LOL BAHAHAHA I hope it’s SM66 ( SM-33 s mother) lol
I'm not sure I see a pirate turning into someone that runs a planet with surveillance droids to keep people in line.
He sounds a bit like Geoffrey Rush who plays Barbossa in the Pirates franchise. Would be fitting.
I think SM 33 is the Capitain Pirate
It wouldn't be a surprise if the supervisor is a pirate or one of the surviving imperial officers.
The "Hut" in the mudbath sort of reminded me of Bill Paxton's Chet-pile in Weird Science.

I had a feeling that At Attin's Supervisor is going to be the main antagonist, not just the pirates.
14:11 definitely an Indy Punch
I swear they pulled the same sound file
16:09 - "Did I do that?" 😂
I NEED a Black Flag style game but in space with Star Wars. Pirates are so damn fun
Here's a *_REALLY_* wild idea... What if SM-33 is Captain Tak Rennod? They sound exactly alike.
Perhaps Judd is a survivor of the temple, maybe even the little boy who asked Anakin what they should do... Saw all his friends killed, would change a kids perspective drastically.
Oh that's .... 😢😳😭
Poor SM33 got a dog collar on lol
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

I have always wondered where Palpatine got the credits to finance the building of his fleet...
I need a "Did i do that" and that moment was perfect for that ... but he don't say it lol
Is the Cthallops character design and name a call out to H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu?
...and Dr. Suess
Love this series. Such a fresh of breath air from previous D+ Star Wars shows.
Now it's the Goonies. LOL
Does anyone know what that massive skull is in the vault? I feel like I recognize it but can’t place it
YES!!! Second!!! You’re awesome btw and yes the episode really got me thinking Jod is a junior Sith of some kind..🤔
Really enjoying this show! Hope you have a great holiday, Omni!
I’m loving this series. It is climbing the very short ladder of top Star Wars from Disney. Def top 5 maybe even top 3
that was lucky... lol... i want next ep now hahhaha
"Clad with ARMOR..." interesting.
Wondering if the lighstaber is going to be a red color in the next episode. Merry Christmas.
Many thanks, Omni! Perhaps there is no supervisor, just a bot or computer.
We all should of seen this coming from Jod Silvo especially if you read Treasure Island or watch any film adaptation of the book. Jod Silvo(Sw)=John Silver(TI)
This show is so fun
I'm pretty sure the old captain was the guy pinned to the wall by the knife Jod has now.
First!!! Favorite episode so far
I think Tak Rennod is from the same species as Neel.
that bounty hunter looks so familiar to me i hope she lived
Jodwick Zank! Why you slimy, double crossing, no good swindler!
That was great!
My captain theories. Sm33 , a droid, wims mom.. or a pirate
@omn1media I'm calling it now.. when Jod turns on that light saber, it will be red!

Urkel is savage .
Good job this show is so good
Yeah I think Jod used to be a padawan or at least a youngling and to his credit he could've let the kids down there to rot instead he's taking them with him
I think this capitain pirate is the droid SM 33
I say this now he was called crimson jack because he probably had a red lightsaber
He should've just hidden the kids under his robes then snuck in...
wouldn’t it be funny if the supervisor was Hondo Onaka
Was Neel even in the episode. Seems left out after last episode.
Didnt he say the captain was killed by his concubine?
Jod is a sith!
Does no one else think that lanoopa looks the same and could be the same planet as Taron from Solo?
Thats what I thought it was
They could have used stock footage
Unrelated but You should really react to TADC
It's 100% not the old captain
BETSY KETTLEMAN and preacher Christian hitewoman!!!
✨🩵✨🫸💫🫷✨
Does Jod really have the force? Have we see him control anything that isn't metal?
I don’t think he’s a Jedi of any sort. He always uses his right hand. Which has a glove. It’s magnetic tech or something. I’m a little disappointed.
Please react Abraham Lincoln the Vampire Hunter.. You'll love this movie 😊
