I can't figure out how to just attach the mesh to an attachment point. Seems you have to buy into how they do things on the art side as well but they don't explain it. The weapon for example has no attachment points so you have to build it in your dcc app with all the attachments skinned to the main mesh and positions offset root or something? So confusing.
For me, nothing works or shows up when I click play. No options to change clothing. And unfortunately, there aren't many tutorials that show how to properly set it up.
It doesnt do it automatically, your UV's have to be set up so that you can highlight the parts you want to hide with the remove mesh blocks node. Some UV's are too complicated to do this or have insufficient spacing, your UV wrapping has to be designed to make it easy to work with mutable, it wont work with all meshes

@@brk29 No worries, look in the sample project to see how it works, in the overview level there is an example of how to do it. Look inside the example customizable object to see how the node is used
Have any reason to use Mutable? I not see any reason to use this. Add-off clothes better without it. Change materials and change material params better without it. (I not sure, maybe with mutable not possible change materials, only params) Its looks funny, but all this functions already can be used without Mutable. Maybe cut part of mesh better use with Mutable (i just dont know how easy cut part of mesh, maybe its more easy without Mutable too)

I check Mutable Sample - but sample very bad - all logic inside Mutable objects. Its okay if select 2 textures - but what if i have 800+ textures? I need add 800 blocks to every custom object? By code i can grab it from folder to TArray make grid in UI and select - just 20 strings of code VS 800 blocks logic in Mutable. Maybe i dont much understand Mutable so good.

You are correct. I wouldn't really call this a creator just a customization or merging system is what it feels more like.
how did you get the grooms working my project just crashes every time I select a groom
Go to plugins and make sure you have the Rig Logic Extensions For Mutable plugin enabled. Let me know?

You may have to readjust them in MetaTailor and reimport to fix your issue tho

So if i understand this correctly, we are we able to import are own character meshes and clothing meshes for this?
Yes, But it seems the mesh must use the same skeleton or be the exact same proportions.
Can you add the character to Sequencer?
Yes you can put the character in sequencer or any where you can normally use a character.

Mutable should fix the z-fighting, there's something wrong with this setup.
