Ibbagala raja maha viharaya is situated on ibabagala rock (Tortoise rock) near kurunegala town in Sri lanka. It is a cave temple. The cave temple is believed to be built by king Buwanekabahu 2 in kurunegala era. (1293-1302AD.) There is a large rock-cut foot print of lord buddha in the temple.
