Des, thank you so much for being such a fighter in EVERY race. I love your attitude after not making the team. You handled this with a lot of class. You are THE reason I will always remember the 2018 Boston Marathon. Best of luck there this year and beyond.

I think the initial leaders in the women and men's races paid a price by not sticking in the back a bit/slightly and drafting, second half was the time time to move toward the front with so much wind. She worked so hard by always being in the very front... so close

The sound is terrible, maybe try holding the microphone closer to her mouth next time. I can't hear what she is saying with all the noise.

Des showed some true grit in that race. She ran a tough race on a tough course, and obviously any of those women could've qualified.

Seriously ridiculous how long it took for someone to realize how freaken cold she was during this interview!!!? Maybe next time let her sit down with a hot drink and a coat before you bombard her with endless questions.

I still watch the ending to this race over and over, rooting for Des to pass Sally (no disrespect to Sally), but I get disappointed every time. Anyone else feel that way? Regardless, she was about 20 seconds behind third place at Mile 25, and in fifth place behind Laura Thweatt, and she worked hard to make that finish interesting and finish in 4th, and she had the flu going into this race. That was some tough running.

@That One Perhaps... though she's still in great shape- and plenty more marathons between then and now... and I certainly wouldn't put it past her trying for 2024...

Boston win was a fluke. Two dime a dozen runners won that year. Where is the Asian male winner now? Neither has done anything since. Only American media hypes her up.
