@@diffjuns323 Hiii! Sorry for the delayed response It's surprisingly simple. You basically just check if the unit being deleted is eternal, then make sure it isn't deleted. You also need to comment out a few lines so turns can still happen after the level is destroyed
I agree with what you said at the end. Once I release the next version of this pack it'll 100% update the world and add more levels using these mechanics as admittedly there is a lot more that would be done with this mechanic lmao.
I'm really curious how this is implemented. I can see how you make "crash" work, by having it expand to one of the contradictory statements, but I have no idea how "eternal" works. (Sorry for the necro.)
@@Khaim.m Lol dw about the necro Crash is actually a property used internally to cause an infinite loop. I added it for easier level creation. In terms of eternal, check for my destroylevel() and destroylevel_do() overrides (i forgot which one exactly 😭). It basically cycles through all the objects and deletes them, but i think I add a check to see if the object is eternal before doing that? This is from memory and I coded this like over a year ago now haha, the destroylevel functions are a good place to look tho
I think 4:44 was caused by the "baba feeling eternal is not eternal," causing baba to be switched back and forth between each plane of existence. As a result of this (even though there is no way to prove this because the text was never _not_ eternal), the game creates an infinite infinite loop loop.
this would never work on the switch version. Not just because it crashes when a loop occurs, but because you can't get levelpacks or mods on switch, at least last i checked
This pack is designed against people like me who are irrationally unsettled by the infinite loop screen
