WeckeLove17 Wecke I'm in the same boat as you sis .. one day I hope she'll have one that's not Facebook dependent 😥... but at least we are still getting the benefits of her routines 😁
BOIL THE ONIONS TO GET RID OF THE SMELL! Green Beauty has a great video about how to boil onion juice for max results. I was blending it for a while and my hair would stink for days, my pillows, my clothes... it was soo bad! I was so conscious especially being paranoid about the morning commute and the poor guy or girl who would have to stand over my head🤢🤢 so I tried boiling the onions and now there’s no smell at all and I still get amazing results!! I do an onion rinse every week using onion, garlic and cayenne peeper and sometimes I add rice water to the onion juice. I leave the juice in my hair for 2-8 hours and then wash it out with my homemade ghrassoul clay courtesy of fusion of cultures (ghrassoul clay, aloe vera juice, peppermint oil, rosemary oil and water) sometimes finishing off with an ACV rinse. I also make an immune boosting drink by boiling onion, garlic, ginger, lemon, honey and cayenne pepper in water which I drink daily. This has been my weekly wash routine for about 3 months and the combination of my onion rinse and this drink added to my healthy hair routine has really helped me maintain and grow my hair even quicker.🥰💆🏾♀️ Thank you for another great video, I can’t wait to try the Chebe mask!
Thanks Stacy W! Will definitely try this! I used raw onion juice once and it took 3 weeks for the odour to stop! Really wanted to keep it as part of my regimen but that smell was embarrassing😕😳😳😨 lol. Will try boiling because I thought it killed benefits of the onion. Glad you had results😊😊😊
Maria mar mar no problem, it’s definitely worth a try. I take the onions off the stove after approx 5 mins or as soon as I start to see a boil to ensure I keep as many nutrients as possible. Boiling will make all the difference in the world. Good luck ❤️❤️🌹🌹
Hey CP, I add 3 garlic cloves and 1 med onion juice and 1cup fermented rice water in glass bottle. Add 6 drops of peppermint and 1/4 teaspoon lavender to cut the smell. Add 2 shakes of cayenne pepper to stimulate scalp and open blood vessel that bring blood. Shake hard. Spray on. Then 30 mins or 60 mins w plastic cap Then rinse. Then deep conditioner for 15mins. Happy use and happy Long thick hair to you.
I usually get 2 uses out of it. But I have let sit refrigerator for 3 weeks. But I will advise you to experiment for longer than 3 weeks in refrigerator. Oh, I have been using rice water n onion n garlic for 4 months. I have fine hair. I have seen thickness and I do love that!!! Growth is slow for me. But my hair is finally on my shoulder. Happy long hair growth and thickness to you.
I blend onion with fresh aloe then add that to an ayurvedic powder blend. Add essential oils, apply and leave on for a minimum of two hours. The oils minimize the smell and the mix has helped my hair thicken and grow with much less shedding.
I started using onion, garlic and ginger juice with olive oil, since July and I have been seeing very good results, I had thinning and balding areas for years and now it is gradually filing up, thanks God. I have changed the formula now, I use onion, garlic juice mixed with aloe vera gel, castor oil and olive oil, which I really like. With the rice water, I have been making it and freezing it and I unfreeze it when I come to use, however, I will put the rice water in an ice cube trays and I just need to unfreeze some of the cubes, not all. Excellent video as usual. Thank you so much.
@@emiliwealth6373 I apply this mixture on my scalp, then my ends. I also add 9 drops of mint essential oil. I use a cotton pad to apply the mixture to the scalp and the rest of the mixture, I use my hands.
Hello. Chad, Afrikaan also have Black Women with ground length hair. And Chebe is there and used for their hair, among other herbs and oils that keep their hair from child hood to adulthood. Basically, their hair never breaks. So, I say this to say..Black Beautiful Queens, we all grow long hair, all people, just some faster than others. That has nothing to do with complexions/enthicity..more so dieting (generally speaking) and moisturizing our hair so that it doesn’t break. Meat has a high source of protein, vegetables, herbs, spices, fruit, eggs, milk, water, and exercise is all a good start to an healthy diet. Potatoes, rice beans. Yams and some wheat and healthy fats, olive oil, coconut oil. And this is all in the diet. Protein grows while iron strengthens. Also peanut butter. Cream of wheat, grits. These foods are rich in iron and protein and exercise keeps your blood flowing that causes all of those nutrients to flow with your blood. That’s why your blood smells like iron. Our bodies require these nutrients and minerals that’s naturally from the earth just like Beautiful black people are from due to God. Not that lighter complexion people are beautiful because everyone is. I’m just pointing out color has nothing to do with hair growth. So..we all grow long hair, it’s just has to be obtained. Loved. Appreciated and cherish. Have a wonderful day.
Starlight very nice commentary. Some of us need the antidotal information, or folklore to implement the science to see if the methodology and routine is effective.
@Yvonne Blake Why take things so seriously? The lady is just pointing out a funny truth. All these foods we eat everyday are good for hair, skin etc. Soon we will be doing double groceries, to feed ourselves and grow our hair...lol Have some chocolate and lighten up 🤣😂
Some of us forget that we all have something called “free will” and we can choose to use or to not use any product we find out about in video or in print. People make conscious decisions to try or not try anything they see or hear about; you either accept it or you don’t. If we have the ability to view things on line, we also have the ability to research all the ingredients mentioned in order to decide if we want to give them a whirl. However, I think that regardless of what is said or heard about, our problem is that we either don’t use them properly or we don’t use them long enough. It takes months to see any real positive change but we expect to see results within the first 1-2 weeks of trying it. Sadly, it doesn’t work that way. We also don’t take the time to “pamper” our hair as we should. I usually wash my hair, moisturize it and then I braid it and that’s that. In actuality I need to take it down and moisturize my hair at least 1 other time during the week then rebraid it. Bottomline is, create a regime using products and methods that work for your hair and follow it religiously; revise regime as needed. You are the judge.
Exactly! I caused a really bad bald spot on my head, but used some natural products after researching and now hair is growing back (Chebe, aloe Vera from the tree rubbed on the spot and Fenugreek). Thank you
Hi guys..I suggest that you apply the onion juice using an applicator bottle over a sink, cover your head with cap/bag and tie a cloth around the perimeter of your head so that the juice doesn’t run down your body. Rinse and shampoo over the sink as well as this saves you from smelling like a ram goat(speaking from experience here lol)
Green Beauty's youtube channel explains the benefits of onion juice and she also shows how to prepare it using both the blend method and the boil method. She adds garlic and cayenne pepper to the onion juice. Shes really great! I have learnt so much from her.
@Kathi Bobbitt I wouldn't say that... There's a plethora of information on the internet for all to use so I guess she's sharing what she's found. I've know about onion juice for years so it's not really a secret... Guess where I got that from... The book Ugly.
Frederica Miller this is good to know! I made my first batch about a week or two ago but it was toooo stink I couldn't keep it in my hair so I threw that away. I just made another batch last night but I only let it ferment for about 17 hours this time. And it wasn't stink so this is my first real day. Hopefully 2 months from now I can say I got massive growth too.
@@TaShar16 Make sure to add your favorite essential oils to the mixture and it help with the smell. I let my mixture ferment for 7- 8 days. I add fenugreek, and ginger to my mixture.
There are tons of effective recipies. Trial and error plays the biggest role in figuring out which one is more suitable for certain hair types; dry, damaged, just or slow growth! I will definitely be given this one a try! 💜
Hello, I use the wheat/onion juice water together and leave it in my hair for 30 minutes then I deep condition and then condition my hair. I'm 51 now but hair was thinning when I had my second set of twins 5 years ago and now it is back longer and thicker and curly. I use collagen peptides every day it also has helped and the inversion method
Ginger oil is bomb af (grate ginger squeeze the juice out and add the same amount of Olive/coconut oil and shake) and ginger smells much better, and makes my scalp tingle more than onions. I've noticed a lot of people be sleeping on peppermint oil too.... Massaging ur scalp with it 3 times a week or adding it to ur deep conditioner does wonders
Great routine :-) I use rice water (unfermented obv) as a combined final cold rinse and leave-in. I also use it on my skin before getting out of the shower and don't rinse. Then I use moisturiser. It benefits my dry skin and eczema as well as my hair.
If you make the onion juice using the simmer method, just simmer some botanicals with it to cut the smell. like hibiscus, nettle, chamomile, peppermint, etc. tea bags are perfect
FYI I DID THE CHEBE METHOD FOR 2 Months I washed my hair every 3 days and the results are Amazing!!!! And now I'm doing my rice water and rice mask from Belle bar organic for 2 months as well !!! I did the chebe like the women from Chad!! But the key is being consistent and wearing protected styles and mainly keeping the hair moisturized!!!!! MOISTURIZED!!!! Basically Trail N Error!!!!! Many Blessings and Happy Holidays to U n Ur Family v💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I have Native American hair and I have been using the rice water and onion on my hair My hair is growing and I don't shed hair anymore. The texture of my hair is also changing, I am hooked on using this. My husband is also using it and he is also seeing results.
“Baby call” was my favorite part of the video. The real life of working moms. I want to try this Chebe and rice water thing. I’ve been doing onion juice for the past month. I’ve had less hair she’d and it feels as if the hair is growing thicker
@@Lafilledlapluie genetics determines the speed your hair grows and its terminal length. But most people have a terminal length of 5 years and 1/2 an inch per month. That means if you retained every bit of hair grown without trims or breakage youd get 30 inches
Lol do some of you people know that this is a hair channel? And that she'll try different diys because its her format? No one tells MoKnowsHair she uses too many store bought products because thats her format. If you personally don't need all these boosters lucky you because some of us need them. Granted I'm not using chebe because I don't need it. Henna is still doing the most but i need rice water rinses and green tea . Tried and tested so 💁 let people live
Chebe my personal opinion is it has more to do with the women's hair care practices of moisturizing, low manipulation and leaving their hair alone for a week or so. The version you are sharing sounds better than the original. Great to have you back.
Jesus loves you. He wants all to come to him John 3:16 “ for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever shall believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life” repent ( confess your sins to Jesus and do them no more) find a local Christin church that believes Jesus is Lord and has come in flesh and died and rose again for our sins and follow the commandments and the will of the Lord and keep going and finding a relationship with our dear Lord ask and talk with him about anything he’s coming back
FatBabyCheeks nope as Christians who are truly Christians we try not to lie for it is a sin ! I want to help you guys not hurt you what do you have to loose ? But the world to gain if you die where will you be? I have seen visions through God he is real!
I’ve heard about the benefits of onions for hair, but I never gave it a try for the fear of my hair smelling like onions lol. One day I’ll try it. Baby steps lol
Hi from 🇧🇷. I have 3c hair and I use yellow onion juice on my scalp before I prepoo.. it takes time because I have to use the onion juice (1 hour), then the prepoo (1 hour), then shampooing and deep conditioning (1hour) and finally a rice water.. (1 hour) then rinse and style (1 hour)I am trying to cut it back to a 30 min each because I have a busy life..but anyway..my hair does not smells onion at all. The breakage and falling is 95% gone. My hair used to be all over the place. Now I dont have to pick up my hair around the house anymore. This is a blessing itself. It is shining and strong too.
Yes show us your office and yes show us more about chebe I am going to try and follow a similar routine like yours. I can say for a fact using the massager with the different oils and different Indian powders my hair just loves it. Thank you
What’s up CP, So I have a question or two or three- ha!...(Q1) Do you rinse out the rice water before you apply your conditioner or do you leave it in? (Q2) Can I use peppermint in place of the tea tree oil for the onion juice? (Q3) Will you consider doing a video for heat damaged hair that doesn’t consist of chopping all your hair? Last, I would like to see an application video of the chebe powder- like from start to finish. As always I appreciate you and thank you for your health and beauty tips. ~Namika
Thank you for the compliment- my name means “the wave” in Japanese. I will definitely try using the rice water again. I heard you’re supposed to use organic. I didn’t use organic. Then I rinsed the my hair out before putting in the conditioner. I’m all backwards! I will keep the rice water in and apply the conditioner after that. Thank you!
I seen a video of African women who hair was to their ankles. They used oils. Beautiful hair. Your hair is pretty, it looks moisturized and healthy! You are beautiful and I love your personality and accent. Thank you for the hair tips. Im going to try this with lots of lavender and tea tee oil. Then Im going to wash and deep condition with coconut oil and conditioner. I use coconut oil to take the smell of onion and garlic off of my hands after I cook.
The first time I used rice water and onion juice on my hair it made my hair so soft I didn't mind walking around smelling like a salad but once it dried the smell went away
I’ve been a follower for sooooooo long and I was just thinking as I look at my damage natural hair. I use to have THICK natural hair like super thick n I just fell off. I was thinking...’time to go back to basics’ Henna - ONION- and my new squeeze is Rice Water.
We have been selling Chebe Rice Water and Chebe Clay Gloss (cassia henna, rhassoul clay, Chebe Powder, etc) for over a year! Chebe with Rice Water and/or a few other natural methods really do work! These are our top selling products. Good job Curly Proverbz :-) Amazing tips. XOXO
What I do is use boiled onion juice as a scalp massage while I'm prepooing then shampoo/clay mask and deep condition then rinse with fermented rice water with a cap of acv. Used to do a henna gloss every dc now it's not necessary I just do the henna mask every 2 months. Use the hair tea when I remoisturize and on wash days that aren't henna days. I need to go back to scalp massaging 3x a week.
All these foods we eat everyday are good for hair, skin etc. Soon we will be doing double groceries, to feed ourselves and grow our hair...lol Next time I will buy dark chocolate for myself and my hair too 🤣😂
I would use onion juice. MSM does not work well with my body at all!!!!! Onion juice stopped my sister's hair shedding in one use. I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw how her hair didn't shed . Then she rinsed her hair with Apple cider vinegar mix in water. PERFECTION !!!
I generally use rice water for prepoo,my hair 💓 it!

I remember my teenage sisters and I being crazy on coconuts and coconut milk, years back in THE PHILIPPINES ... soaking our hairs on it, and "moisturizing" our skin ... oh, where were those days...
I’ve been interested in using Chebe but haven’t found a use for it that’s “modern life friendly”. I can’t wear it in my hair for more than a few hours, but I will try the mask!
Genuine question: If the benefit of onion juice is the sulfur, why not just keep using MSM if you already have that in your regimen? Is there a difference between the two?
Yep, I like ALL of the Belle Bar Organics products you mentioned! I've been using them for over two months now. Those ladies are a god-send! I'd love to see you try the chebe in true Chad style!
Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks for growing hair. I do believe that this is something that I can do and be consistent with on a weekly basis. I find that when I try this idea once or twice and that idea once or twice and I don’t see any improvements I tend to quit and becomes bitter. My challenge for me is to challenge myself to be consistent with taking care of my hair and not stressing about not having extremely long and thick hair. I know my hair grows at it’s own rate and I wasn’t born with thick hair from birth. So it would be ridiculous of me to think that my fine hair that has never been past my shoulders would automatically grow to my butt and double in thickness overnight or after a couple of treatments. I just want my hair to be as healthy as possible and retain as much length as possible. The only thing that I can do is be consistent. My hair didn’t get into this jacked up state overnight. It’s been years and years of neglect and inconsistency. It might take me years to grow my hair down to my butt but if I’m honest with myself I really wouldn’t want that because I’m freaking lazy and it looks as if extremely long hair requires more work than I am willing to do. Once I get my hair healthy and to a length that works for me, then I will keep it at that level. However, the 2 things that I’ve learned from you Curly Proverbs and that is patience and consistency. I know that sulfur and the rice work for my hair as well and I will be more consistent and patient with myself and my hair. Now that in itself will be my biggest accomplishment and having healthy hair in the process will be icing on the cake. Again thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas. Keep the videos coming.🙏🏾💜🙏🏾
Sigh! I'll be following along with the challenge as best I can. I dont have a Facebook due to problems in the past but I am excited for a winter challenge to keep me focused
Bernadette Enoh - I mix my chebe with aloe vera juice and then add to my deep conditioner. My favorite is homemade avocado that I just blend up in my nutribullet with aloe Vera juice. These two together worked best for me, I also added it to other deep conditioner as well.
Yeah Chebe is amazing. I used it last year for around 6 months the traditional way and I kid you not my hair grew down my back. My hair was collarbone length in August 2017 then I started using Chebe Jan 2018, by August 2018 my hair was super long . I can show before and after pics if anyone is interested. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE with using it the traditional way is that it’s EXTREMELY messy and the Chebe grains get EVERYWHEEEREEE which is really annoying. I wouldn’t use it the traditional way again until I move back home in East Africa, but as of now I’m just using Chebe butter and it’s good enough for me. **Also I went for a trim in August right after my new length and a stylist trimmed so much now I’m back to almost my initial length 😭 but I still have pics of how much my hair grew. And I’m on a new challenge
I've heard good things about chebe but it can be exspensive in cost but I would love to get my hands on the chebe oil. And the rice water is going well for me always happy to get videos from you curly proverbz
Girl!!....I went on Belle Bar 2 weeks ago, and saw the kinky hair line...so I bought all of the above... super happy about this video☺️😊 That rice water I put it in a spray bottle (somthing you would use to put cleaner in) from the dollar store, and sprayed and drench my strands, shower cap it up...and keep it pushin' till it is time to DC....lol (When you freeze the juices, conditioner....does it lose it's potency? Just like when fresh veggies are better than frozen one per say...lol.) I am such a nerd...lol but, in conclusion..... love the video, and you always have my full support! 😍👏🎉 and just stocked up on the natty naturals too. That conditioner is my leave-in, detanglaer with your Ayuvedic olive oil combo...and set. Super excited 😍❤😍
Long hair is beautiful!!! Having said that, I don't want long hair. I would like to learn what I can do to make each hair strand thick and plentiful. Would you create some videos specifically on that? You know so much and I respect your weLth of knowledge. Please???
*****NOTE ****** We forget as black people and mixed blacks that our hair is the most curliest which means it is prone to more breaks than straight hair cultures such as Asians who have the straightest hair on the planet as well. There are the Chad Africans who are Blacks with the longest hair in Africa. It would be smart to use their technique if your hair is closest to that spectrum. Not saying don't use rice water but not as heavy as I would use the African chebe power which is tested for dry hair.
I love the idea but am a little scared because of protein sensitivity. Between the rice water and chebe it may not work for me. Does anyone who's protein sensitive have more info on this?
Yes do be careful. Used onion juice 2years ago and my hair broke off in small patches at the scalp, (just had to jump on the band wagon!). This year I put garlic oil on my nail cuticles, wow! They grew so much and so quickly! So I thought I would try it on my scalp, just my edges.......have me a bald patch I am still trying to nurture back 🙄🙁😲😦. Rough, dry hair after henna use. Really needed them to work for me but Lesson learnt! Take care!
Golden Marketing Social Solutions ... hi from 🇧🇷..well, my hair didn’t like rice water when I have my hair natural.. and I used to have the henna all the time.. Now I CANT have the henna because I use a Brazilian smooth keratin, then I am no longer has natural hair, but my hair love the rice water... I still dont know if the henna didn’t work together with the rice water, or if rice water didnt go well on my natural hair because of the hair porosity thou.. but anyway.. my hair loves rice water now... and I use yellow onion as a scalp treatment.. before the prepoo..
No no to all of these for protein sensitive. I have tried all with crunchy disastrous results. Also...if you are protein sensitive you may find her fenugreek recipe drying because of the henna. I substitute just Alma and all the other ingredients. Amazing growth and hair does not feel like straw anymore..african soap is so key in this regiment also. Do not sleep on this too...lol
I would think the ingredients and their properties are much more important than the method. Boiling seems to have less odour to me but l hv seen no difference in efficacy.
Can you please do a video on how to make an onion oil with little to no smell? I tried onion juice but I only wash my hair every 2 weeks so I don't think I'm using the treatment enough to see benefits. With an oil I can use it multiple times throughout the week 😊
Great video!!! The rice water and onion treatments do work. I have tried rice water and onion treatments.I have to try Chebe powder. Thanks for showing that Bella has it. I have to try the Chebe. I did use a the rice water boiling method you featured in your Curly Proverbs rice water video. Thanks so much
Hi there, Love'n Ya vids, I've tried some of Your diy's & seen results so Thank You; I've also tried the Chebe, I've had like 6 different products, it really grew My hair, after using all the products in about 4 to 5 months I no longer ordered the products, little did I know that if not continually using, that My hair would fall out, so I reached out to a Chadian Woman on Instagram & asked wss I suppose to continue using as I would Rogaine & She replied yes; Not tryna deter Anyone from using, but if You're not gonna use it as a lifetime regime U suggest You do research on it as if what would happen if You stopped using it altogether, My experience after I stopped wasn't a good one, My hair was way past My collar bone, using it, after I stopped, My hair didn't just shed, it came out in blotches, now I'm tryna recover what I lost; So Good luck on Your Chebe journey regimen!!!!

I just watched one of your other videos. I also wanted to know what the name of your shampoo?. It sounded so nice with almond & all. Sorry to ask so much again. 💖🙏👑

BOIL THE ONIONS TO GET RID OF THE SMELL! Green Beauty has a great video about how to boil onion juice for max results. I was blending it for a while and my
hair would stink for days, my pillows, my clothes... it was soo bad!
This has been my weekly wash routine for about 3 months and the combination of my onion rinse and this drink added to my healthy hair routine has really helped me maintain and grow my hair even quicker.🥰💆🏾♀️
Thank you for another great video, I can’t wait to try the Chebe mask!
I boil it also and it works perfectly no smell after washing it out! Yay!!!!
Stacy W I agree. 👍🏼

Lmao we gonna run out of food
onion juice, rice water, coffee, eggs .... Lol whats next ?
Lelethu Ntlanjeni 🤣🤣🤣 grocery shopping for hair lol
@@hayleymadisonllc2180 At least its worth it … Thanks for sharing the vid
@Yvonne Blake Wow calm down .. Its a joke. I'm natural too
@Yvonne Blake Why take things so seriously? The lady is just pointing out a funny truth. All these foods we eat everyday are good for hair, skin etc. Soon we will be doing double groceries, to feed ourselves and grow our hair...lol
Have some chocolate and lighten up 🤣😂
Yvonne Blake seems like you’re the negative one

Lol this comment made me chuckle
You are the judge.
best comment 100% right
Nissi Sanchez 😂😂
How long to leave it on ?
Haha! Yes I am not about that Ram life

I can appreciate you ladies that take this time to test your hair to this degree!!! It’s really awesome🥰❤🎉
Green Beauty's youtube channel explains the benefits of onion juice and she also shows how to prepare it using both the blend method and the boil method. She adds garlic and cayenne pepper to the onion juice. Shes really great! I have learnt so much from her.
Keep hearing bout her I think I need to spend some time watching her vids
Me too, she's fantastic for information and demonstration.
@Kathi Bobbitt I wouldn't say that... There's a plethora of information on the internet for all to use so I guess she's sharing what she's found. I've know about onion juice for years so it's not really a secret... Guess where I got that from... The book Ugly.
Kathi Bobbitt you need to leave this channel with that attitude.
@@Anniemae1970 yes, i love your response. Seems like she reads the book ugly quite often. Lol
I love your channel. I've been using rice water for 2 months now. I have achieved massive growth.

Update us now pls how is it going

There are tons of effective recipies. Trial and error plays the biggest role in figuring out which one is more suitable for certain hair types; dry, damaged, just or slow growth! I will definitely be given this one a try! 💜
Thanks baby girl. I'm a Native man, and need help with my hair. It's brutal. I will follow you steps and work with your advice. Love it.
Also ginger oil lasts for a month in the fridge and is good for you skin #antiaging
Great routine :-) I use rice water (unfermented obv) as a combined final cold rinse and leave-in. I also use it on my skin before getting out of the shower and don't rinse. Then I use moisturiser. It benefits my dry skin and eczema as well as my hair.
If u spray and live it on your hair does have any bad smell how does it smell after spray it n live in
If you make the onion juice using the simmer method, just simmer some botanicals with it to cut the smell. like hibiscus, nettle, chamomile, peppermint, etc. tea bags are perfect
*Trial not Trail
I love using rice water. I put it in an applicator squeeze bottle, squeezing it in at the roots and gently pulling it through the hair.
Girl I thumbs up all the videos I watch from you. Love your content and you put so much into your work. Much love
I have Native American hair and I have been using the rice water and onion on my hair My hair is growing and I don't shed hair anymore. The texture of my hair is also changing, I am hooked on using this. My husband is also using it and he is also seeing results.
How do you prepare and deal with the smell?
@@mZToyadiva101 I put essential oil like lavender, tea tree oil, scents that I like in it.
When you say native hair, does that mean each strand is thick and course? If so, you are blessed. I wish I had my native hair when I was young.
“Baby call” was my favorite part of the video. The real life of working moms. I want to try this Chebe and rice water thing. I’ve been doing onion juice for the past month. I’ve had less hair she’d and it feels as if the hair is growing thicker
Add 2 teaspoons of lavender essential oil to the rice water onion mixture and it will mask the onion smell!
Quite sure their diet and lifestyle are factors outside genetics.
What exactly are the genetics doing?
What's their diet consist of??
Wazakauye Zulu genetics also affects how your hair grows, the porosity, etc.
Yes people in modern cities have crap food. When you eat nutritious food from nutrient rich soil it makes a difference

What is chebe
I agree. It’s the practice and leaving it alone, not so much chebe. They really are just doing the LOC method

I’ve heard about the benefits of onions for hair, but I never gave it a try for the fear of my hair smelling like onions lol. One day I’ll try it. Baby steps lol
I have used it once and just the onion juice was amazing at detangling my 4c hair.
@@chrisaraujo694 same it worked for me too I call my wash hair day an all day project. Lol but it WORKS shedding stopped IMMEDIATELY!
Yes show us your office and yes show us more about chebe
I am going to try and follow a similar routine like yours. I can say for a fact using the massager with the different oils and different Indian powders my hair just loves it. Thank you
What’s up CP,
So I have a question or two or three- ha!...(Q1) Do you rinse out the rice water before you apply your conditioner or do you leave it in? (Q2) Can I use peppermint in place of the tea tree oil for the onion juice? (Q3) Will you consider doing a video for heat damaged hair that doesn’t consist of chopping all your hair? Last, I would like to see an application video of the chebe powder- like from start to finish. As always I appreciate you and thank you for your health and beauty tips.
~Namika
Namika Harley I co-sign the request for a video on HEAT DAMAGED CURES without big chopping. Thanks in advance Curly Proverbz 🙏🏾👋🏾❤️
Hey girl... Beautiful name btw. 1 no 2 yes 3 Rice water is supposed to really help with that. I will consider it X
I used the Chebe (have the powder and the premixed formula) it's a little messy but I see faster results with the rice water.
@Ayfayyy
I can't really say because I've only used it 2x's in a month.
am i the only one thinking she's more beautiful WITHOUT makeup?? def appreciate natural beauty ;) great info and sharing! thank you
The first time I used rice water and onion juice on my hair it made my hair so soft I didn't mind walking around smelling like a salad but once it dried the smell went away
I'm totally game for you looking at the facts and figures on chebe, and trying out the traditional use of it! 11:40
I’ve been a follower for sooooooo long and I was just thinking as I look at my damage natural hair. I use to have THICK natural hair like super thick n I just fell off. I was thinking...’time to go back to basics’

Yes, tour please. Would love to see what you've done with the place. Any before/after photos?
I am most definitely changing up my regime after this. Thank you so much!!!!
"And they don't grey until over the age of 80"
B****, what? 😱
I am milan That’s completely genetics. Gray hair is driving genetics.
Soon we will be doing double groceries, to feed ourselves and grow our hair...lol
Next time I will buy dark chocolate for myself and my hair too 🤣😂
You're right 😂😂😂🤣🤣
I'm pouring rice water on my hair and face right now. Lol.. I boiled it with witch hazel leaves then added MSM powder when it was cooled 😍😍💆🏾♀️🧖🏾♀️
Girl .... it’s the absolute truth!
Yaya on RUclips has a Chebe butter recipe which could help!
Genuine question: If the benefit of onion juice is the sulfur, why not just keep using MSM if you already have that in your regimen? Is there a difference between the two?
Yes please, do the tour. the place looks gorgeous
Clicked on this so fast ! Lol I live for your updates
I get so excited for your videos!!
Thank you... excited that I am able to be more consistent :)
Great video! Regarding the onion juice, it's best to use yellow onions. They have more sulfur than white and red onions.
Please do a video on Chebe, it's properties and yes I'd like to see a video of you using it the traditional way, please!!!!!
Great video. Thank you Curl Proverbs, you area amazing.
Lots of love from Maputo😍
Chebe is life❤️❤️❤️, I recommend for strengthening and growth I have great results.
Fab.... I can't wait to see how I get on with it long term. X
Pearline Jackson dear How do you use your chebe?
Bethlehem Tesfaye Thank you for sharing your success story. I dread the traditional chebe because of the mess.
Chebe is a staple for me until they discontinue it
I've heard good things about chebe but it can be exspensive in cost but I would love to get my hands on the chebe oil. And the rice water is going well for me always happy to get videos from you curly proverbz

Freezing is an excellent suggestion!
Girl!!....I went on Belle Bar 2 weeks ago, and saw the kinky hair line...so I bought all of the above... super happy about this video☺️😊 That rice water I put it in a spray bottle (somthing you would use to put cleaner in) from the dollar store, and sprayed and drench my strands, shower cap it up...and keep it pushin' till it is time to DC....lol
(When you freeze the juices, conditioner....does it lose it's potency? Just like when fresh veggies are better than frozen one per say...lol.)
I am such a nerd...lol but, in conclusion..... love the video, and you always have my full support! 😍👏🎉 and just stocked up on the natty naturals too. That conditioner is my leave-in, detanglaer with your Ayuvedic olive oil combo...and set. Super excited

*****NOTE ******
We forget as black people and mixed blacks that our hair is the most curliest which means it is prone to more breaks than straight hair cultures such as Asians who have the straightest hair on the planet as well. There are the Chad Africans who are Blacks with the longest hair in Africa. It would be smart to use their technique if your hair is closest to that spectrum. Not saying don't use rice water but not as heavy as I would use the African chebe power which is tested for dry hair.
Congratulations on UR new furnishings !
Hello girl your subi. Yes rice water works, my hair gro toooooo slow and now I see growths,
I love the idea but am a little scared because of protein sensitivity. Between the rice water and chebe it may not work for me. Does anyone who's protein sensitive have more info on this?
I tried the rice water and henna gloss and my hair was so dry and crunchy. Protein sensitive ladies use caution please.
I would recommend one or the other if protein sensitive X
So if you're using all 3 of these methods at once, then how will you know what exactly is giving you positive results?
I would think the ingredients and their properties are much more important than the method. Boiling seems to have less odour to me but l hv seen no difference in efficacy.
Easy. All three
I'm sure they each play a role.
Can you please do a video on how to make an onion oil with little to no smell? I tried onion juice but I only wash my hair every 2 weeks so I don't think I'm using the treatment enough to see benefits. With an oil I can use it multiple times throughout the week 😊
