Another banger of a video from Happy Hapa, thank you for this. That trail looked arduous but the misty views were enchanting. That burger at the end looked perfect too, and must've tasted even better with the best sauce of all: hunger.

We purchased the Hakone Freepass which covers all transportation required to do the route. There's lots of signs telling you how to get from one point to the other, if you just search that you should see a map!

Yes the atmosphere of the forest made that hike worth it! It wouldn't have been as hard if it weren't so muddy 🙈

Is there a lesser crowd when you go the clockwise route vs the counter clockwise route on the loop?
Slightly but I don't think it makes much of a difference, just made more sense for us to start our day in Gora vs. end it
