We purchased the Hakone Freepass which covers all transportation required to do the route. There's lots of signs telling you how to get from one point to the other, if you just search that you should see a map!

Hope you enjoy your trip! That's what the forest really looked like, it was such a dreamy view despite us sliding around in the mud for hours haha

Slightly but I don't think it makes much of a difference, just made more sense for us to start our day in Gora vs. end it
