I always thought that the song referred to how schools make us all the same (bricks) to be used in the society (wall). Lately I realized that "Brick in the Wall" also refers to a cheaply made name in a memorial-wall. Pink Floyd came from a generation whose fathers died in WW2: "Daddy's flown across the ocean. Leaving just a memory. Snapshot in the family-album. Daddy what else did you leave for me"
Best band since day 1. Been a fan since 95...Can still remember the day I heard them, all those years ago... Most influential band in My 36 years.... Can't wait to hear new album!!!
Sorry, I do love Korn too, but the singer was the only part I enjoyed. There was too much variance to be a cover. Pink Floyd is iconic & you have to do the song justice.
