Good days guys, another top video and a nice fish, well done, these are called "TROUT" must say as good as ours Down Under,That for sure was a Browny,Thumbe up,5* defenetly.
JB, I showed up to work at 0500 this morning and to my surprise I saw that you had uploaded a video. This was another one of your works of art for sure. It looks like you guys might be coming out of your deep winter freeze. I will try to send some of our 80 degree weather your way. Great job on some really nice fish. Steve
It sure feels like spring is in the air up here Steve! Looking at the extended forecast, I think we should have a nice push of fish coming soon. Stay tuned for more videos!! :)
it is not spring yet!! i only wish it was.... we just got 6 inches of snow after being 50 degrees out for 2 days... but awesome video! i cant wait to go out for some stealhead.
Best put together video yet IMO, great angles and better fish! Mr. Rick there was on fire! He even dodged a blatant attempt to slap off a Trophy brownie! Great Job!
"Spring" I was thinking this musta been one of last year's videos for a second. We gotta be weeks from spring still! Nice joke. Regardless, nice vid again JB. Like Flyboi mentioned, how about some set-up, tips/tricks added in the prelude or halfway for education sake. Love seeing those hooksets while I'm sitting in the office. Hope to see you guys on that river in 2 weeks. I'll be shorebound though.
Do you guys think you could do a set up/ Tips and tricks video while you're on the river? I've been on the muskegon 3 times this year and got skunked every time...
Its the sound that gave em away. You guys should do a video or two in august thu October fishing for the kings. I'd love to see how you handle a big king on the centerpin!
Ok, i have watched pretty much all of your videos for steelhead amd cannot for the life of me figure out what yall are calling boots, or what it means. Anyway, another awesome video guys.
Keep setting it deeper until you see your float go somewhat sideways in the water when your bait is dragging bottom. Then slightly adjust your float to keep your bait a bit shallower so it's running just above bottom. In winter, your presentation should be within a foot of bottom to get the best results.
You guys keep it fun and cause SCENES! Exactly how it should be done. Keep doing your thing.
Great job...classic ending. Making the trip up the middle of next week. Hope the donkeys are hungry!
Best centerpin videos by far! Keep em coming!
Best centerpin steelhead videos on the TUBE.
My favorite fish filming move now has a name....It is called "The Rick".
Nice video. One of your best. Can't wait for our ice to melt. Keep up the good fishing and videos!
I actually sighed with relief when you landed that first brown, I was like pushed up against the back of my chair!

Salmon Fishing: Casting Crankbaits
I so need to get me a 'sky cam'! lol (and a 'net cam'! :-) Great footage/editing as usual JB! Thanks for the motivation!!! lol
love watching your videos. Gets me pump up to get after those head bangers. What size (grams) bobbers do you like to run?
On this river, we run 11 gram Raven fast and deeps.
Great video!! Nice brown too!!
What kind of boat is that that you fish from??
It's a riverman. Check out rivermanboats.net

+Anthony Boyd When males have been living in the river for an extended period, they change color-- to dark brown/black-- like a boot. Lol.
How long did it take you to learn how to do the "rick?"
Often imitated, never duplicated! Haha.
#SetThatMotherFuckingHook Lmao Nice Video Man.
jb you need to get some net practice in lol
do you use marabou style jigs or jammin jigs. I love me some great lakes steelhead co jigs
Neither. I pour and paint my own!
where were you fishing in Michigan
May i ask what river you guys are fishing on?
Hey,
What kinda bait you use?
I see its working good.
What kind of rod and reel setup are you guys using for Steelhead?
Where did you get your islander centerpin
Tyeler Burke Fishusa.com I think? It's been a while, so I cant recall.
How do you determine the depth to set the float?
Keep setting it deeper until you see your float go somewhat sideways in the water when your bait is dragging bottom. Then slightly adjust your float to keep your bait a bit shallower so it's running just above bottom. In winter, your presentation should be within a foot of bottom to get the best results.
Thank You!
How long are the rods that you are using?
Normally 13'. We were testing out some new 10 1/2' sticks in this video.
What lb line/ leader?
14/6
