This the dominate performance we needed
Mason is big and blessed with a rifle of an arm. He is the prototypical Steeler QB. He has the maturity to know when to throw it away and not afraid to run when needed. The whole team looked energized with him under center! Mitch needs to go and Kenny needs to be the # 2 on the bench observing and learning, he appears to be injury prone.
Was just thinking this myself, Mason's been with us for so long, I think he deserves his shot at the reigns.
Mason did fantastic, but he usually sucks.
They have their guy. Rudolph wants it and gets it. I haven't seen them play like that for eons.

Everyone out there did an amazing job, huge thanks to Mason Rudolph for stepping up and being the leader we needed for this game!! Hope to see him the rest of the season if Pickett can't play!! I always thought it shoulda been Mason over Mitch and this game really drove the point home for me and a lot of other steelers fans. Guys been with our organization for so long, he deserves more chances in the spotlight!

I’ve said for 2 years Rudolph is the guy and everyone at work said I’m crazy. I told them watch what happens tonight I’ve been saying it for 2 years.. I was right!!!! And couldn’t be happier I hope this performance gave him the #1 spot Kenny sucks and mason should have never been 3rd behind Mitch lol.

The biggest difference I saw is that Mason looks comfortable in the pocket, while Pickett always looks like he's panicking the moment he gets the ball.
Finally, Mason Rudolph gets to play. George Pickens makes up for the last game.
I call it the “ Mason / Pickens line” . To all of those with saying, Mason was not that good. I get to say, I told you he was that good. Dang, Pickens can run. What a great team effort, both sides were solid. The defense and offense complimented each other. Great game.

Rudolph has the most time spent wearing the black and yellow. His up and downs have set him back but in a weird way put him in this position. What does he have to lose? I’m not saying he’s the best QB on this team but I’d start him. He looks poised he spend time with Ben and realistically what is the media gonna throw at him that he hasn’t faced already.

Who knew that our best QB was our 3rd string QB- Mason. Cut Trubisky, draft a QB in 1-3rd round and let Pickett and Mason and draft pick battle it out in camp next summer

This is just an example of the kind of offense that the Steelers fans have known this team was capable of ever since training camp. But it took this long Define it. The question is is Kenny Pickett durable enough to do this on a regular basis and stay healthy
Rudolph exposed Pickett's weaknesses.....Rudolph is more accurate, has a better deep ball and can actually lead receivers for YAC. Only reason that Pickett is the starter is because he is a first rounder.
I take back everything I said, lately, against all the Steelers QB's. In fact, keep Mason Rudolph in as QB for the rest of this regular season and (hopefully) beyond. He's earned it and he deserves to play it all out. !

Mitchell Trubisky is garbage. Had Tomlin fired Canada earlier we woulda seen more of what Kenny did in the first Bengals game that was right after Canada was gone, and if Mason was already number 2, we woulda seen more of this the last couple of weeks and been playoff bound for sure.

When Mitch Trubisky loses it's not Tomlins fault, because he didn't sign him, so ofcourse he's not going to start Mason Rudolph, because if he loses than the blame is on Tomlin, because he was drafted, groomed under Tomlins regime, and he is still on the roster, because he knows the offense, and is good enough to manage wins in this system, but if he loses the finger to blame is Tomlin, because Rudolph is a product of the system that Tomlin was head coach of. Mitch Trubisky is Tomlins new scapegoat, because if he wins Tomlin looks good, but if he loses Trubisky sucks, and the front office overpaid him. He usually keeps coordinators for scape goats, but the Steelers fired his scapegoat for this year, so Trubisky is the next man up. Tomlin has always kept a scapegoat, and he knew Mason Rudolph was better than Mitch Trubisky, but it's all about winning regular season games it looks good on Tomlin resume, and legacy, so he has his work cut out for him Faulkner, and Austin can coach the team while he gets all the credit, and now he's put this team in a position that oh well they found his backup scapegoat is and can win out now that Trubisky is out of the way, but he can't control how the other games play out, but atleast he'll have a winning record that's what it's all about, thats what everyone looks at when his coaching is in question, look at the record. Mike Tomlin cares more about his legacy than the teams, and is egotistical that's why all the Steelers greats Joey Porter Jr, and Carnel Lake, and such are gone, because they outshined Tomlin made him insecure about not playing in the league, and they we're good coaches, so he got rid of them before they got too popular, and took his job, because if his seat got hot they could've took his job and easily exposed him Lake actually did on an accident, because it's easy to see if you pay attention, and he got rid of Lake that off-season just for answering a question on the website about a player he coached up Hilton undrafted from Ole Miss Lake found him while Tomlin was whooing Senquez Golson basically, and we know how that went. Thats why Artie Burns, and Sean Davis we're starters as rookies and really good the first year because Lake was there, then they let him go and they declined, so the front office had to sign veterans, because Tomlin can't coach he needs guys that already been coached, but that's how his head coaching career started basically he inherited a dynasty luckiest coach ever all he had to do was get out of their way and cheer them on lol
