THANK YOU to everybody who messaged us on Instagram about the current situation! We decided NOT to drive back to Manila to stay out of the danger zone and continue our road trip with @nellyslife @avelovin and @martin solhaugen 💛Stay safe everybody 🇵🇭

So stoked on the next couple of weeks where we will be traveling together!🚗🎊 #MakingItMarveLous #Roadtrip
So true, i can't explain how beautiful and interesting they made their vlog from a simple content. And everytime they speaks in camera you really feel sincerity and a heart.😔😊😍
Yes that's what I suppose to suggest..province is still safer for you to stay since Manila is full of different people. Especially when new tourists are arriving.
This vlog is so refreshing. To me, it’s about gratitude and appreciation for things we always take for granted - a home cooked meal, beautiful sunset and friendships. ❤️❤️❤️
Guys, no worries, it's happening here in the US and all over the world. The most important thing is to stay out of the big city wherein you can acquire/contracting the virus easily and the next thing you know it's too late to be sorry!!! Just stay healthy and be safe and enjoy what it feels like living a simple life in the countryside once and for all in your lifetime of which all the Filipinos enjoy and always happy all the time!!! Chill Out
#MakingItMARVElous wow! Ave has humble beginnings. Lives in Province and in Kubo, sleeping in a banig on the floor... no wonder Martin fell in love with her. What a simple girl with a humble beginning and jolly! I would love to stay in the Kubo with garden like that. Stay safe guys and everyone in the comment section.
Everytime I get the chance to watch you guys you get more comfy than before. You are adapting to our culture and close to becoming one of us! Good job!
Coconut trees are Tree of life here in the Philippines. Used for house, roofs, foods, beauty products, brooms, toothpicks, wrappers, lambanog coco gin, vinegars, coco milk, laundry soaps, floor mats, ropes, erossion control on highways, etc etc.
Bicol is our province and the fresh air, green landscape, and a relaxed lifestyle is nostalgic. It's a good place when you want to get away from the cities sometimes.
I love the slow phase, calm, relaxing provincial life and what makes it more worthwhile is spending it with someone special, with friends and making lots of unforgettable, lasting memories.
We tried to leave legazpi city yesterday too and attempt to go to Masbate City but my Island Province is already in lockdown... So we decided to go back to legazpi city.. take good care of yourself gorgeous couple and stay healthy ...
Hi guys, since most provinces are now enacting their own quarantine measures mostly with travel restrictions you might consider this too, in order to avoid getting stuck in a place you don’t want... Stay save and congrats to your great vlogs!
my province my place of birth ,you will enjoy sorsogon, beaches, hot springs and cold springs, blue crab one of the best. baluko sea shell so delicious. bulusan national park, nice place to relax, so peaceful.
Ava's place is great with the backyard garden. Fresh vegetables and fruits ready for the picking. My mom's home province... a place and culture we are all proud of where you can find gourmet of gata (coconut milk) and sili (chili) of many sorts. And pili nuts. Yummy! Simple life is still the best! Enjoy folks!
Good you've decided to leave Manila during the Lock Down, that's most of us probably adviced you because not good for you to get bored in your apartment. Looking forward for many blogs in the next two weeks. Yeah Sorsogon is a beautiful place and you can find the Shark whale in that area, I forgot the name. I love that BAHAY KUBO and the sorrounding place, it's so cozy.
I grew up sleeping on a mat like that laid down on the floor with mosquito net above us kids. At school we have this big narra tree at the back of school where kids afraid to go nearby because the adults said there was this giant creature living there, lol at this now. Of course, we cooked our food on a stove made of clay and uses firewood to boil rice, tinola or chicken adobo, or some stewed fish, yum! And all over around us are coconut trees, some jackfruit/breadfruit trees, santol, mango, star apple, banana trees, malunggay and calamansi trees. A stone's throw away was the ocean for fun swimming especially summertime, was the best, and of course the yummy fish people caught from the ocean every day you end up eating grilled right there on the beach, or cooked at home by the adults. Remembering my childhood days as a kid in the Philippines watching this vlog. Watching from Southern California! :) Thank you!
I missed my hometown! Thanks for reminding m e of my childhood! The house, the garden, the trees and the animals is back to my memory lane. I’m crying now! Watching this video is like i was also joining you because I felt what it was like there. Cherished memories!
Guys , the wood Narra that used for furniture are our National tree , its very expensive and that mat is called BANIG in the Filipino .. life in the province is soo cool ..
It's very engaging and really heartwarming to see an old nipa house in the province and having home cooked meal harvested from the backyard. It's so easy staying awesome and being positive watching your vlogs☝️✌🤘❤🇸🇽😍
Ave is right is hard to get Narra furniture nowadays, when I was a kid my mother's business is Narra Furniture during that time Narra is very abundant my mother has a lot of orders but unfortunately my mother go on bankrupt because of a limited supply of Narra.
Living in the Province is very refreshing especially staying in Kubo house. Then outside plenty of tress and plants very relaxing. Enjoy your stay in the Province for a month because entering Metro Manila starting March 15 is now disallowed. It's a long trip from Luzon going to Visayas, enjoy your trip Mike & Nelly.
im here at ur back side as ur GUARDIAN ANGEL'S and ur close FRIEND'S THE JUICY VLOG ...i HOPE U ALL LIVE HERE IN .PH COUNTRY AND BE A FILIPINO RETIREMENT LIVING...Tnkz u love u ALL 😊🤗🤗

Watching from Dallas, Texas. It's lockdown in Manila. You can't go back yet until it'd safe. Not bad here in Dallas, no case yet. Happy to see you there together. Stay safe and enjoy.
I remember a time when I asked my mom if we could use that mat as a carpet, and she vehemently said "NO". She told me to have some respect with the things that we had used to sleep on for quite some time. And I somehow quite understand
I miss my home, we had capiz windows as well but had to sell it due to financial reasons. Now whenever we pass by, it's so beautiful and idk if we can have a home like that again
Well, it’s better to stay put for a while, the lockdown is meant to stop the transmission of virus further. If people keep on moving around places, they’ll spread the virus more in distant places.
Stay safe guys. Enjoy the home province of my father! There’s a great coffee shop in Matnog, Upcyclist Cafe but unfortunately the owner my sister is away back to her home in LA. She’s not back till April. The coffee shop is only open when she’s around. Anyway there’s always a next time. Your Down Under followers are excited to see your adventures!
Love the video! I love the provincial life, so simple & peaceful. One day, I will build a kubo in a beautiful garden to hang out in next to our main house. I love kubos, how it exemplifies simplicity in life. Makes you appreciate everything around you. 😊 I love how you can grow all the tropical trees & veggies in the Philippines. Very self sustainable and organic! You can grow your livestock as well. Food is something one does not have to worry about, if you have a small land at least the veggies and fruits you won’t have to buy from the market. I love it! You guys should visit farms as well... veggie & fruit farms, they’re a lot of fun! 😊👍🏼
Wow this is cool colab wid my fav vlogger :) be safe guys always ok .. njoy dparadise outside manila ... d exhausted place . Hope and pray for all people there .. for their safety

you made the right decision, better stay there where there are less danger of contracting the virus, just plain fresh air, good food and healthy environment
We also avoided the Metro Manila lockdown and mandatory quarantine in Boracay.. we arrived in Manila from Palawan and Boracay March 11..We also left Manila to San Francisco (March 16) just in time before the announcement of No international flights from Luzon from March 20..
Aaaah... simple provincial living. When you get used to the city life and go the province with simple amenities, it can be jarring at first. Enjoy your time there and stay safe!
I think the house is built on concrete stilts. That's good planning on her grandfather since it's easier to manage the termites. The termites will try to build earth tunnels on the outside of the concrete stilts upward to the house but it's easy to spot the tunnels and remove them. I know all this from my father's home. It got infested with termites and they're so hard to eradicate.

Amazing house,simple yet looks refreshing.

Yes happening here in la California. Disneyland will be close for a month due to Corona virus
Consider a special vlog on water/energy security in places where you travel, plus the innovations locals have. I'd be curious.
Its good you're not yet in manila for the meantime enjoy your stay in Bicol.... Take care... See u again tomorrow.
Good decision! Sosogon is a lovely place. You gonna enjoy there. Keep safe you lovely couple. God bless you always
I think the house is built on concrete stilts. That's good planning on her grandfather since it's easier to manage the termites.
