3.5 V6 has a really meaty, full sound. It's excellent. I'm sad they didn't brought this engine in the Lexus RC in Europe. We only had the 2.5L hybrid four popper. That isn't catastrophic, but it's an econobox engine, unfitting such a car.
@@scoot5642 I have one, it's not a race car but still has decent power. It will run a 14.1 quarter, top end limited to 143 mph,not a slow car by no means.
@@arthurl.9985 i have a 2019. it’s not that the speed that the weight hurts, it’s the body roll. drives more like a challenger than a sport car, at least challenger has a v8

@@WholesaleJewelleryAustralia Actually if you put the cars side by side the dimensions are exactly the same! Also because the RC is a coupe you have a lot more room in the front than you do in the IS
I'm taking my 2017 RC300 F-sport to the shop to get a muffler delete in a few days. What tubing diameter diameter you recommend? I've seen RCs with 3" sound amazing, but I'm not sure about 2.5".
I suggest getting a muffler delete with custom tips it sounds so good and isn't too expensive. If you want it from the headers up go for a Greddy or Nvidia they make great exhaust systems
So when I go to to launch my RC, I slide up a bit like in the video, do you know why this happens? Does the RC not have a proper launch control setting or is it something I'm doing wrong?
It's not really considered a "proper launch setting" it's essentially just brake launching. Only way I can think of to fix the creeping is to upgrade your brakes
Hold down traction control until it turns off and the lights appear on your dash. Then hold the brake with your left foot and hold the gas with your right. The rpm will go up to 2k, at that point just release the brake and it will launch!
Hi, it's 2017. There is no actual launch control setting, it's more of a brake launch with traction settings off which some people would consider a "hidden launch control"
The ASC only generates sound inside the cabin, unless you were referring to the F sport sound generator that some Lexus have, it would have been removed when I installed my Takeda intake.
How did you get the rc350 badge off? I’m guess there wasn’t any prongs to plug? I’d like to de badge my car but can’t find out if I’ll have to fill holes or not
There are no prongs. I just took a heat gun to heat up the glue under the badges and ran dental floss under them. After that you just have to remove the excess glue and wipe it clean. Isopropyl and a rag helps but isn't required.
It's actually considered fast. There's a chart I have seen rating cars by 0-60 time. So 6 sec. cars are considered quick,5 sec. is considered fast,4 sec. is very fast, 3 sec. is supercar,2 sec.is hypercars. No rating for 1 second cars but it's coming.
Its not that slow 14.1 quarter mile is still real good for an all stock v6 street car. Also we lexus owners are not just caring about speed. If all you care about is speed buy a hellcat redeye.
Where’d you get your rear trunk emblem!!??? It’s really nice but it looks like you found a dark one or wrapped it with tint? If it is tint what’s the percentage? Look great!
technically it's a brake launch. First you have to hold the traction control button for a few seconds to turn off all restrictions then hold the brake and gas at the same time
That sounds really nice, especially for a V6!!
Thank you!

Quite annoying that we don't get the 350 in the UK. We only get the too expensive RCF or the slow as fook hybrid RC300h.
