Great series! I noticed that my custom object was out of scale and too large when I placed it on my layout. Is there a parameter that allows a custom object to be scale sensitive?

Hello! I have a question about. If is necessary to rotate the object, the air flow terminal, how do you made the text to appear aligned with the page, not to be rotate with the initial object?

Hello, my name is Kevin i am an Architecture studying, recently I've been using ARCHICAD 18 to make my college work, but i have a several problems and i don't find any answers on the web. I've been trying to change the settings of the "audience seats layout" from the object library but i cant change them at all, it always stay in the default setting no matter what i do, the only thing i can do is change the number of seats!! And the same thing happen with a lot of other things, like walls, i can't change them to "non-load bearing element or load-bearing element" they keep on "undefined" no matter how many times i change it they always go back to the default.. PLEASE HELP ME, i am so desperate...

hey Eric, Thanks for this very helpful video, thanks to you, now I can create my own custom objects, however, currently I need to modify the Markers of the doors to include more shapes (a split circle with 2 text boxes).
by extracting the object I was able to reach the macro that is responsible of that part, but when I tried to modify it and put it back, I wasn't able to :(
    what do you think?

(archicad 21) How do I add custom hotspots for objects I've created in 3d? the 2d isn't helpful; I have an object library that needs customizable 3d connection points/hotspots

I tried doing this but even if I select the windows in a sequences Archicad still seems to number them randomly. Why is this?

Hello Eric, I got a 3D model wich is quite heavy every time I open it in an elevation view, how can I do to set custom views for each elevation, I drew in the 2D symbol for each view in different layers. So far, I just got the top view with a custom 2D Symbol, but I want different views on each elevation, there's a way to do that? I don't want ArchiCAD generate lines from the 3D model on each view.
I'm trying to find something or someone on the internet who knows how to do that but with no luck yet.

      Thanks for the answer!
I think that would be a good feature to add in futures versions, adding a 2D symbol for the angles of view that you want, and make the object editor friendlier, haha.
Could you make a tutorial at some point in time about what you said about creating differents version of the object? I've seen, that some of the default objects of ArchiCAD bring this option for the 3D model of the object, a 'Simple' and ''Detailed' option. And what 'Simple' does is use or reduce the polygons of the object, how can achieve that? I think I could use that to reduce the number of lines that ArchiCAD generates in the elevation, am I right?
      If you can't no problem.
