- The world's lightest Hammock. 4K Pros and Cons. Sea to summit hammock set ultralight single is thus the world's lightest UL hammock. If you want to complete your 3 for 3 with a hammock, this is the way to go. Lighter hammock is hard to find. But it is not possible to lie diagonally in the Sea to summit hammock set ultralight single.
I go through both pros and cons, because it doesn't suit everyone. But for me it is actually perfect. It also replaces a hiking chair if you hike below the tree line. But of course it cannot be used on the mountain hike.
Ultralight hammock
Sea to Summit's ultralight hammock is a true lightweight. The specially designed material consists of 20D nylon thread which makes the hammock light, strong and very packable.
Even so, the hammock can handle up to 135 kg, more than enough for a sleeping camper.
The hammock comes with suspension straps and aluminum fittings so you can hang comfortably on holiday.

The Sea to Summit Ultralight is a real Ul-hammock (lightweight) which, thanks to its integrated compression sack, is not much bigger than a can of soda.. This is possible due to small dimensions and very thin nylon fabric, it is like a net. Can double as a mosquito net when sitting during the mosquito season and fishing. But I don't think the hammock is for everyone. Unless you are very bohemian, you will feel restricted. If you plan to sleep in Sea to Summit, you must understand that you will not be able to lie diagonally. But if you are a ul hiker and size and weight are very important then this could be perfect for you and your ul pack. A good way to lose weight 3 for 3.
3 for 3 means setting three kilos as the maximum combined weight for the big three. When this is done, you can move on to the other gadgets and eventually also file the toothbrush handle.
It compresses down to the size of a soda can and weighs under 226 grams with suspension. Although its dimensions are small and not conducive to sleeping diagonally or stacking in a thick air mattress, for the serious ul hiker who counts every gram, this is worth considering.
Comfort
For how light, thin and small the Sea to Summit Ultralight is, it's still quite comfortable for smaller users - at least for whaling during the ride or just sitting and relaxing. But in any case, I can't handle lying diagonally in it. But if you like to lie a bit on the road, this hammock could be perfect for you.. But if you are much taller than 180 cm, broad-shouldered or want to lie on your side, you should probably think about it.
Weight
A clear winner in this category, the Sea to Summit Ultralight weighs just 226 grams in total and the hammock alone weighs 155 grams. I think it is very difficult to find a lighter hammock with straps. It also takes up very little space in your pack. So for UL hikers who value weight over comfort, definitely take a closer look at this one.

@@Fjall-Anders Hittade en extra stor under kampanj på XXL för 200kr. Vet inte ifall det var något speciellt märke, heter hawaii något.. Ska testa med underlägg i den nästa gång, har en exped som den kanske lirar bra med :)

Själv har jag 60 liters, den är ju sjukt lätt trotts storleken. Tror den väger ca 640g
