Just a little note from a real trucker, we don't (or at least my company doesn't have us) drop our suspension to hook up to trailers, only to drop them
They'll update Nevada and Arizona eventually. Until then, they are focusing on redoing all of California. I believe the next phase of the California rework will focus on the San Francisco Bay Area, and in that case, I'm excited on how they're gonna handle it.
I find it funny that in American truck SIMULATOR that California is one of the better states to drive in. As a trucker IRL, I avoided (no longer over the road) like the plague. That state could fall off until the Pacific and I wouldn't complain one bit.
someone needs to slide their Trailer Tandems forward CA state law in real life The state of California requires all tractor-trailer combinations to meet the King Pin to Rear Axle (KPRA) law. What does that mean to professional drivers? The center of the rear axle on all trailers must be at the 40-foot mark or shorter and must not weigh over 34,000 pounds on the trailer axles California 40 foot rule
It's crazy that other states allow the axles to be so far back. It's crazy that the US in general doesn't require as many axles as the EU and Australia.
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv Why is the rule dumb? Having the axle further forward allows the trailer to turn sharper on narrow twisty roads. It's standard in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia etc. Midwest states are the few places where LCV's can have rear-set bogies, as there's often a lot of straight roads or the units only operate on freeways.
In fact, in Europe and New Zealand, semi-trailers cannot exceed 45 feet in length, and anything over 40 foot must have a steering rear axle. We've got narrow roads, with lots of corners, and very few 'Interstates'.
If I (want to) join the company, do I need to get to 'work' frequently? (I'm starting my real life studies and work soon and play the game very infrequently but I would love to play with you when the time is right).
This is awesome! It's not an update till they add all USA & Mexico together! They need to add the USA and Mexico & Canada together in a game! And upgrades on truck & trailers without being mod's! together on the cd game! & where can I buy the CD game? Congratulations Scs software, American Truck Simulator! So they still haven't addressed the issue of unrealistic trailer loading/unloading locations but hopefully that's next. Btw stop dry turning the steering wheel. You're destroying the pavement and the tyres. Irl if you did that in my truck you'd be looking for a new job
@@TheFormalPickle Ok that’s fine I just wanna see what mods you used. Also when I go to click on it says to pay $5 $10 and then whatever the other one is. Where do I go to see, never used patreon so need a little help
California still got the slowest speed limit tho. Not that i let that stop me

I was about to say the same thing
I ran a 680 that for whatever reason always was tall. I dropped the bags maybe half the time to hook up.
Yeah if you drop the suspension you might slip the kingpin above the fifth wheel and have an all around bad time.

SCS is creating beautiful DLCs. Nice video, thank you.
Just a suggestion: In order to have less issues with traffic, have everyone but the session host turn off traffic.

I manage to play this game with a mouse and keyboard lol Ive kindve got used to it
Nick's New Sunday Night Starts With Euro Bus Simulator AT 7:30pm And American Truck Simulator At 8:00pm It's All Coming Up Next On Nickelodeon
Lowering suspension while hooking? Good way to get a high hook lol. I recommend NOT doing this. Only when unhooking from a trailer.
The fact that I’m driving on the exact same road that Jake is driving on at 8:10
10-4 Good Buddy!
they definitely have come a long way since the release of this game

My favorite truck freightliner
I mostly been avoiding California due to the 55 speed limit.
do I need anything special like a steering wheel if I ever joined your trucking company.
Nah that 55mph speed limit keeps me out of the state at any chance i get

Sorry i am new in this What Processor do you use for this game 🎮
unless the speedlimit gets raised over 55 itll always be bad to me lol

Where can i buy or download ATS?
Steam. Try to wait for the next Steam sale to get everything. It always goes on deep discount during the bug steam sales
what do you use to move your head in the game
What engine are u using?
Zeemods Cummins ISX pack (not the EGR pack)
whats the headset called?
What button panel do you use
I put the application on trucks book
I might be stupid but how he look side to side when his hands are off the wheel

California is still great, only the top of it is, but Wyoming and Utah are the best in my opinion.
How do i apply for convoy company
No no, yellow means speed up
That’s nothing we had to pay $400 and something
