The Wahls Protocol, a popular diet/treatment for MS, is also being used for ALS and other diseases. Dr. Wahls has doctors using diet to treat Alzheimer's on her webinars on a regular basis. So, you are right, there are connections between all these. There are clinical trials going on using the Wahls diet that might be interesting to check out.

Is it possible that a concussion can bring on MS at a later time?

I also wish to know if PPMS can be brought on by multiple previous concussions?

The idea of some brain or spinal cord injury causes ms is disproved by many studies. You can look up on that information on the National MS Society.

can you update us on the cancer results with Ocrevus? I've read that it's like 1 in 50 developed breast cancer. Not sure if there's been anymore discussions on it.

lauren morrell Lauren I have ppms. I've heard the 1 in 50 develop cancer risk also. I am a cancer survivor and have some reserve feelings regarding taking it. I think the risks are still there.

A very small amount did so now anyone who has had breast cancer, or who is at high risk of developing it, is not allowed to take Ocrevus. The drug company that makes Ocrevus is analyzing a study now and saying more about this @ June 2018.
