Haloborn678 the manga was better the anime messed up the story missing out key elements that explained the ghia, the bearsuit lady etc and they turned the main character into a hero instead of a asshat which made his sense of responsibility for the death of another pilot nonsensical and they demonised the ace pilot turning him into a arsehole.
