This is probably the best album Daft Punk has done. Granted, there are some parts of Discovery that lean more towards the mainstream and sound very 'pop-like', but they don't sound bad or disposable like most pop music does. However, tracks like Aerodynamic really show what Daft Punk are capable of and it just plain sounds awesome. This is the best track on the album in my view.

lol mine was night vision idk it's just a 1 minute transition to superheroes.
honestly tho just because it's my least favorite doesn't mean I don't like it because every song in this album is amazing.
High life is extremely catchy but drags too long (by maybe a minute)
"Face To Face" is confirmed to have vocals from two Alan Parsons songs too ("Old and Wise" being one of them).

Can you review Justice's "Cross"
I agree with your favorite tracks except Too Long. I think it does justice to its name hahaha too damn long 14 mins. I would put instead Short Circuit 'cause is way shorter and better, i love its synth bassline, so Daft Punk and the final when everything sounds distorted. Don't you think Voyager has this bassline catchy like Around The World? Nightvision is so calm and very well placed as you said. I don't find Crescendolls that annoying xD High Life is cool but they should done far better than that. Veridis Quo is simply gorgeous melody, reflexing and gets better with the electronic arrangements. Face To Face is a better semifinal song to Discovery than Indo Silver Club to Homework but I insist Alive is better ending than Too Long!!!

Pablo Rodriguez Zamora he usually focuses on electronic music but he does sometimes review stuff that is outside of the genre
I really found homework much easier to listen to, the song are much less repetitiv. I mean i loooved discovery at first time but i really dig it when you say it just to simplistic and i enjoy it less the more i listen to it. Homework has such a more complex structure and i find myself to enjoy it more and more each time i listen to it

did you know Short Circuit was originally going to be a Homework track but instead Daft Punk used it in their live sets in 1997 because they thought it was too underdeveloped to be released in an album.

Actually, I think Too Long was too long. The second half of the song is great, but the first half is meh.

I actually have the opposite opinion to you. The first half was fucking amazing, but the second half got a bit repetitive after a while (even with that, the song is still amazing).
Face To Face🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This album was part of my introduction to electronic music, and remains one of my favorites today. I've actually always liked High Life, it appeals to me for a lot of the same reasons tracks like One More Time do. But since the first time I heard it I've found Chrescendolls basically unlistenable. It sounds almost goofy, and has non of the futuristic sound that the rest of the album does so well. My favorite track on the album is Voyager.
I pretty much agree with everything you said, but I wish you’d have spent more time talking about the first 4 songs, as there’s a lot of interest there. Also think it’s worth mentioning the lyrics in digital love and face to face, particularly the latter, as it has one of my favorite moments in regards to lyrics. Personally, I don’t like the romanthony vocals too much, and particularly the autotune on the first track gets a bit grading for me, but the sample work on there is incredible (I can’t believe you said that the sampling was uncreative, I think the samples on one more time along disprove that)
Pretty much exactly my own opinion withy Crescendolls and High Life near the bottom. High Life also kinda lost its flair for me over time as well, but I still enjoy it more than Crescendolls. I also agree with when you mentioned Around the World barely justifying its length, whereas Too Long does well to justify it.
High life is defientely one of my favourites, my least favourite is probably crescendolls
could you review either Etienne De Crecy - Super Discount (1) or Mr. Oizo - Lambs Anger, those two albums kick ass

I feel like something is wrong with me, as I do not like this album. HBFS is great, and I love the instrumental for OMT, but for some reason it just doesn't click for me.

Hot take: One More Time is the worst song on the album because of the unbearable autotune vocals mixed so much higher than the infectious hook. And to add insult, there is an entire vocal passage in the second half that goes on way too long.
