It seems that my Ansys has a problem with a fluid body and solid created from two or more sketches. This must have something to do with the bodies and/or interfaces not cooperation properly? I don't know if you noticed, but when you applied the "via System Coupling" B.C., the message "not applicable, so skipping it." on the console appeared, so the B.C. that was actually used was "Heat Flux", which was per default set to zero. I think it is right either way because you are saying that there's no heat flux there, so it is insulated.

    Hey, hi! Do you know why Fluent created that B.C. named cylinder_wall-shadow? You named the cylinder wall earlier, so I got confused why the software created another B.C. related to that wall. I was thinking that maybe it is because you named using the cylinder wall, but there's the wall from the fluid domain too that corresponds to the same points in space... maybe it is that, right?

    • @AnsysTutor

      @@saiganeshb3005 setting all boundaries to pressure outlet is causing the problem. For system to be properly defined, you need atleast one boundary as velocity BC. Make the bottom wall as specified velocity and put zero there.

    sir, can you explain why we created new part from solid1 and solid 2

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 лет назад

      by doing so , we are preventing the solver to create contact region in between these parts. With the creation of contact region there would be additional time required for the solution in these contact region ,hence to save time it has been neglecred in the current analysis.

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 лет назад +1

      system coupling option appears for outer boundary region only . for all inner region "coupled " BC can be used for the same purpose.

      @@AnsysTutor if i cant select the system coupling, then with what should i replace it? Or how to be able to select it?
      I also cant set the cylinder wall with 500 K as well. Instead i only have cylinder wall contact region with 'interface' type. Can you tell me where did i do wrong, please?

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 лет назад

      you can use the "coupled" option to define the heat exchange between walls. Generally, System BCs are only for outer surfaces, that have only a cell zone on one side and an ambient atmosphere on the other.

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 лет назад

      check if you had created the geometries in different sketches or on the same sketch. Please follow the step as done in this tutorial, it would be better to keep a note of each step. so, while modeling, you will not skip any step and get the desired result as well.

      in cfx just press the timestep animation and save the video of animation

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  5 лет назад

      you can set the contour and animation parameters before starting the solution, after the solution get completed, open the solution animation play back and select the video format "mpeg"then click on write. then the video file will be saved in that workbench file directory fluennt folder.
