12:27 the boogie causes a chandelier when aborting the drop enough to create a barrier of water and making it almost impossible for the surfer to exit a mental pit. This is the perfect example why you don't paddle on a wave that you don't have priority. Surfing etiquete is needed especially when the swell is huge it prevents stupid incidents and ruining other peoples rides.
Question for the locals of this wave…does anyone ever go right? It seems like you can back door that section and get just as barreled and not to have to deal with the crowd going left
this looks like a poor risk vs reward ratio - very challenging wave to surf, gnarly take off, hard to get deep, some sections go tight and others drop right out. fair play to all the chargers out there, not for me tho.
