Game 1 Gragas/Graves vs Renekton/Vi honestly should be a decent 2v2 that's winnable on either side. RGE played to outnumber/bait too hard and got punished by countergank several times. Kanavi just has the game sense to be at the right place along with the confidence to say he'll win every fight and dump every ounce of damage he can in every exchange. When it comes to ROG, I think every single player of the team should be proud of being there and having made it out from the group stage. Especially Comp and Trymbi they did really well throughout the tournament. I think the reason they lost was because of the huge Top/jg diff, otherwise they were almost the same in mid and bot and sometimes even better. • @Scorpioide

Not even mad at Rogue, there was just a gap, they couldn't do much more, and they still did a great year. Sure there were very unsual mechanical mistakes, but they did prepare their draft, they tried things, and they held well to some extent. I genuinely feel bad for the players, and for all the hate they will receive.
That said, i'm very worried with the state of LoL in the West. NA is going to Valorant and will probably never be a competitive region in LoL, and Europe had reasons to hope until 2019-2020, but what's left now ? I'm afraid the gap has just become too wide, and there is a reason why LFL is even catching up LEC in terms of viewership : people need hope and a good storyline, they cannot just support when they already know the result.

I found odoamne very good on skillshot, 1V1 plays but he couldn't find in general a good position to engage. This Rogue team was really good in general and mechanically but they lack of micro games against them. I think that's just the problem, to know the timing where they can position in group. But i was amazed how good they were playing, thought they were getting destroyed by them! I was happy to see them play. I hope they will stay in the same team the next year, they have the shape of one the strongest team even in korea and china.
