Ace Marks is an Italian made shoe brand that we actually worked with together on our videos before. Raphael has 10 pairs of Ace Marks shoes and had the chance to test them out.
This shoe on the video is their classic line. The Kickstarters is how they started and at that point, they're like under $200 which is a good value.
What they do well, the first impression is their nice patinas. They added some hard work to it. Overall, the leather quality, it's box calf, and shiny finish is nice. It's slightly more elongated, it'still round and the last fits me very well which is a plus.

I got a couple factory seconds from Ace Marks that had a couple blemishes but cleaned up really nicely, and I've worn both pairs a TON. They've held up great so far.

Blue and blood red. You must have determination to wear those colors. Nice go Preston! The brown one unmistakably Italian. I like the different brown leather hues.

Gentlemen I have a question not on men's shoes but women's my wife has had a surgery on her foot and ankle her doctor says she has to wear a hiking boot due to the surgery is there a boot for women that has the famine look she likes with the proper supportf?

These look gorgeous. Are they breathable, leaving your feet sweat-free at the end of a long day at the office? (after 10-12 hours of wear).
I've never really focused on that (so maybe that's a good thing) but I've never a moment when i come home and feet are completely drenched. The wholecut isn't obviously going to be as breathable and more casual styles, but I have that one and never found complaint with breath-ability
I wear them for 8 hours when im bouncing, and my feet are sweatfree yes.
They are comfortable enough to walk 10km+ a day aswell without any problem so far

My ace marks tend to squeak. Origin I believe is the point where the tongue makes contact with lace up section. Do you have any recommendations on remedying this?

I tried one of their on sale "Mystery Box " shoes. underwhelming , didn't seem to be full grain open pore leather, unlike anything in their regular lines, and questioning the sizing. however customer service was solid. accepted the reurn, quick rebate of purchase price.
Agreed. Their size is off by about a full size and the leather is not worthy of the regular asking price. For $199, it's good. But for $325? You might as well get one at other places.
@@johnnyryu9207 I didn't have that much trouble with length. I ordered a wide width, the shoe arrived with the correct number, there was no width designation on the shoe. they did take it back supposedly they checked and claimed it was a wide. it was a lckluster shoe and i was just as happy to be done with it
@@johnnyryu9207 My Ace Marks penny loafers still give me blisters at my instep. They're a regular size but D width, which both could be a problem. I was brand-new to buying men's dresswear for casual and formal wardrobe, and neglected the usual fact I should go up a half size when trying a new brand. The shoe fits amazingly snug, almost tight, very secure - very much what one would imagine in their wildest dreams what would be a military dress shoe fit ala Unknown Soldier routine/garb. But they are painful after 15+ minutes of walking. I can wear them sitting down, or going to my front door, getting in my car, driving, getting out of the car, going to somebody's front door and knocking just to lounge in their house without taking these loafers off. No problems.
Consequently I can't find a use for them anymore, though the lesson in time, energy, and money was valuably and unregrettably spent. Go up a half size and/or width next time (they also were out of stock in E).
They will not allow you to tell them not to do the patina. Since they put on the patina, they just say they will not make them with out the patina. So I will only buy black shoes from them
